Hey everyone.... last night was a tough night for me decide to check the new site just now only to see that my case was updated but RFE I'm feeling very excited that my case got touch so I'm waiting on the hard copy now want to response ASAP

I'll let my secret be known: every time it gets the toughest and I vent to the gods in an ungodly way, I get some movement on my case! (SHHHHHH)

CONGRATS MY FRIEND!

Day 218 for me, just waiting to get a response from my service request which could be up to 3 more weeks. Also contacted my congresswoman, hopefully she'll respond back in a few weeks. Called NVC just to make sure somehow the petition wasn't already there and it wasn't. The waiting becomes numb at this point and you just try to keep busy with working, hobbies, and just keeping your mind off it.

There's October filers still waiting so that eases the pain as well

We just out of normal processing time so will be  taking some action now ... I'm not sure if you're the one that post the link about to how to make contact with your senator if it's you send it back for Me please

You might try both options below.

First try shooting off an email to the Ombudsman at cisombudsman@HQ.DHS.GOV The Ombudsman provides an impartial and independent perspective to USCIS in an attempt to resolve problems.

Second try your U.S. representative's contact information can be found in this handy directory, and your U.S. senator's information is in this one.

The RFE can be anything from a missing document to not enough proof of a relationship. There are so many different reasons. You'll know yours when it arrives. Once you receive it read over carefully and prepare the information that's requested, then prepare the return packet. Keep a copy of everything you send back to them and send it back in a way that the packet can be traced. You are looking at 2-3 week turnaround normally till you see movement on your case. Your almost there. Do you have all your documents ready for USEM?

If I recall correctly based on some of the other posts in other sections, USCIS can also send an RFE if they themselves have lost the document missing in question.

Everything after approval for the "NOA2" is predicated on the case number. Once you have the case number you can start moving your case forward because now you are in charge of when items are completed for the interview. Every Embassy is different and asking questions is much more beneficial if you go to the sub-forum for your country located here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/149-india/ You'll find experts there that can help you.

Your packet 3 letter, Embassy instructions, is located here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xukUjdqnKM7yqrkqfPfl8tCao_BY2XsC/view

Additional information is here: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=India&cty=Mumbai

Now you should have enough information to be not confused. Read, Read and Read some more. You have to start doing the research work and rely more on the information in the links and less on the folks here in this thread who are processing visa's from Germany, Spain, Japan and Togo to name a few. The ppl here have great intentions but may not know the answer to all your questions no fault of theirs.

me and my fiancé try everything but still not get help ,, still no ans from nvc :(

I wish I could have been there and seen the look on that's agents face who is adjudicating your file. I bet he or she thinks again when asking for some trivial information.
