Does anyone else get the feeling it's going to be another slow approval day according @x_driven_x's scan tonight? On days that there are lots of approvals this thread is buzzing by 11am CST. When there are less approvals, the thread is dead.

Well idk .. you also have to take in mind more of the 50% of Nov filers had already their approval so they moved forward n’ We don’t how much of them are still active since they sign on the forum .

i ran a mini scan 3 hrs ago on Nov 29th and it showed 2 approvals

On the site information about the case
On the phone, they said that a request for additional evidence had been sent by mail.
No need to say. Wait for the letter.
This is very insulting and scary ... What other evidence is needed? last year we made this visa with the same documents, and everything was in order.
Must wait ...

Sometimes they lost a document, or they want confirmation of something small.

Don't worry, RFEs are basically saying you will get approved as long as you can answer their question!

Good luck, you're almost there!

Hi anyone can some help  me here please

i got noa2 on 04may2018  it been 6 week still I haven got my case number

I call  nvc so many time but they keep giving only one ans we didn receive   Any file , even I call uscis so many time not get any help from them

I m worried now ☹️

Nothing to worry about if you think your not approved. It's taking so much more time now. When we went through it was 4 months at USCIS and 5 days at NVC. How times have changed.

Shoot off an email to the Ombudsman at cisombudsman@HQ.DHS.GOV The Ombudsman provides an impartial and independent perspective to USCIS/NVC in an attempt to resolve problems.

For those who have received RFE earlier, how long did it take for you to receive an update or notification again? Or was your case approved after you've submitted RFE? How long did you wait before it got approved?

Recieced email of RFE on May 14. Recieced hard copy on May 19th. Mailed, tracked, May 21st. Arrived at PO Box May 30 (no idea why it took so long other than a holiday weekend). Recieved May 31st. Didnt know it was recieved until June 5th. Still waiting on an approval.

Thanks anyway. I appreciate your concern. I am keeping my sanity to this journey also. And that everyone wishes everyone a speedy process. Again, I understand and pay respect to each individual in here on VisaJourney. Much assured nobody will be left behind.

Don’t worry we are not approved yet despite the inquiry. So the show still goes on for us counting the days till we get approved(in God’s time).

Best of everything to you and your love,

Just because someone filed in January does not mean that is when they started living apart from each other. The filing of 129 is just another wrinkle in the flow of the long distance relationship.

i think we should show more compassion for others. I often read posts that are just darn-right rude.

Ok VJ-ers... I want to share my story so everyone knows what happened, and maybe this can be valuable information for some in my previous situation.

I was told an RFE was sent on 22 May, but I never received it. Having just updated my address, I thought that it might have gone to the previous address. Since USCIS mail does not forward, it would not have gotten to me. So I initiated an e-request online on 31 May and also called the next day and spoke to the Customer Service Rep. He said that since I had an "e-request", that he could not initiate a "service request". Essentially the same thing, but one is done online and the other over the phone. Well... on 13 June, I received an e-mail stating that "an RFE was sent to your most current address, please follow the instructions in the letter". WHHHOOOAAAAAA!! I never received the RFE, so how can I follow the instructions?!? So I called this morning again, requested to speak to a Tier 2 IO. She was very helpful. It turns out that my RFE was really sent to my old address. So whomever was working it yesterday, didn't actually check which address it was sent to, and lied saying that it was sent to my new updated address. However, the Tier 2 IO asked me for a fax number and sent it to me in 10 minutes!! So I now have my RFE, asking for more proof of the 2-year requirement to be met.

So thank you all for the help along the way, and for everyone that listed to me gripe and complain. I hope my story can help anyone else in this situation.

What proof did you send the first time if I may ask.
