RFE was for Two Year requirements of having met even though we already have a kid together and our son is a US citizen.

I guess they were very particular regarding their requirements as my itineraries was NOT sufficient to prove that we have met 2 years prior my application NOA1 date.

That 2 year requirement is extremely strict as well, so they definitely want to prove beyond doubt you've met within the 2 years.

I would think it wouldn't take them too long to review the proof though once you've sent it. Hopefully now it will go quick for you!

Oh! I am certainly aware of those previous months and current month that we’rent approved yet. And wishing for their smooth approvals soon.

With regards to our(My Fiance and I) congressman inquiry, we only opted to do it in advance because some congressmen will still need you to wait 1-2months time before hearing anything from their office. We just hit 5mos.

Actually we only tried emailing.

Hello everyone, I am happy to share with everyone that we got our noa 2 approval last June 7. We just checked the old site with the thought that I will be dissapointed anyway. But was surprised when showed approved. It was a nice surprise. Our noa 1 is Nov 22 at the old site

We are just waiting for the mail.

Congrats! :dancing: Wait about 2 weeks and begin calling NVC for  your case number. Once you have your case number you can rock and roll with all that needs to be accomplished for processing at USEM. Get up to date with what is needed with step by step instructions here: http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html This was compiled by Hank over in the sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

Start asking your specific questions about processing through the Philippines there as there a many experts to help you along the way. Asking them here may or may not get the correct answer as each Embassy has different requirements.

Has your finance(e) lived outside the Philippines in another country for more than 6 months since their 16 birthday? If so they may need a Police Certificate and now is the time to begin working on that as some can take as long as 2 months to get.

I wish you smooth sailing from this point on.

This has been bugging me a little! I don’t mean it to sound the way it does but your a January filer. I don’t mean to sound uncompassionate to how your feeling but 5 months is nothing to how long people have waited. If you look on USCIS website, average processing time is 5-7 months. Historic processing until January 31st 2018 is 6.5 months. I’d enquire with congressman/senate level when you reach the upper end. Otherwise, expedite if you feel you can’t wait and meet the necessary criteria. We are Day 166...are we fed up waiting as a December filer-yes!! But there’s a system and we are still in normal processing time so it’s a waiting game. That’s the reality of what you and everyone else has entered! If everyone could reach out to congress there would be no systematic system. But good luck anyhow. I just want everyone to get an approval who’s has been waiting many months before ours (December) as that would be just and only fair. I think it’s just a little insensitive to come to a filing month before yours to openly convey your plans. Many people on this thread are beyond WAY beyond 150 (infact beyond 210 days+) and have had to have a lot of patience. We have to wait it out like everyone else. The USCIS works how it works. End of.

My best,

Jon

I'm at 216 days now.

My NOA 1 is Nov. 6th Old Nov. 8th new.

This is exactly the reason why I don't hold much promise in contacting Congressman or Senators much less putting in an inquiry to the USCIS.

If you have people who feel they need to start inquiring in advance then it only encourages others to do the same, which, in turn simply bogs up the already bogged up system.

I've been patient and only just started to file any sort of inquiries but I am outside of normal processing time now.

You pretty much just confirmed to me that yourself along with who knows how may others are jumping the gun. This drives me :girlwerewolf2xn:So true!

Sorry for the vent but put yourself in some of the November filers shoes.  See how you feel when you start seeing people who filed in March te complaining and writing to Congressman while you still haven't heard anything two months from now.

Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU.  BTW did I mention Thank you!!
