@nykolos I am from Russia and we got approved on the 4th. I was worried we would be approved the last for the same reason, but everything worked well in the end. I've also heard that the Moscow embassy started giving a regular amount of dates for interviews, so at least this step of the process shouldn't be a problem for us anymore.

Good luck for you guys!

@Mike & Tanja @x_driven_x @Little_Vixen

Thank you ALL!

We called NVC and finally got our case number. Hooray!

Waited for 40 mins on hold but it's worth it.

Said they just got our paper a week ago even if

we were approved since May 04.

Also, they just sent it yesterday to the embassy.

We'll just have to wait some more for their email so we can proceed to the medical exam.

It's a requirement in Philippines to at least have the letter or email with the case number.

How long did you guys wait until you called NVC?? :)

Thank you for your input.. I must say your English is quite good, which a huge advantage to starting a new life in the US..   I was concerned about the consulate being closed in Saint Petersburg, thinking the load at the Moscow embassy would increase and therefore longer delays, glad to hear it hasn't.. I booked a flight there at the end of August, thinking Natasha should have her Visa or at least her interview date by then, she has a fear of flying and we thought it best to fly back together, that's my hope.. I'm staying a couple weeks and coming back in mid September, it will be my 4th trip in 14 months..  Let's post each others status OK?  Best of luck to you too!

He did communicate that the e-request form on USCIS has been disabled and to email as "reminder." .

That would explain why I was able to send a case inquiry online but then days later someone else tried it and it didn’t work...

This process is so infuriating and inefficient it’s astounding.

I hope it'll really help once I'm in the US, but I still don't know what job I can apply for..  You're travelling quite a lot! Do you speak Russian?

It's so kind and thoughtful of you to support your fiancée! She is a lucky girl :)

Thank you! I will keep you posted.

We received our noa1 on November 2 1017. As of june 7 2018, we are still waiting for noa2. Are there anyone else around that timeline that still waiting? I also tried the e-request form on the uscis website, a reply came back saying that they will process my request and get back to me on june 6 2018. I waited for them to reply back but they didnt.

I understand your frustration. :girlwerewolf2xn: Maybe looking from their side will lend a little more sympathy. In the month April 2018 46,000 visas were issued in just that month alone. That's more than a half a million immigrants wanting and getting approved. How many applied and got denied. Thousands. And to think that each country has it's own imprint (it's history, it's character, it's nuance's, it's people and their views)   So it's a rather large work load to adjudicate. No one country is the same and no person from that country is the same.

We are but ONE in the Millions that apply. Could the system be better, SURE! But, there are not unlimited funds or personnel to throw at this problem. They systems gets tweaked where it can. For example, they are looking at electronic processing all visas soon. Their in the test phase as we speak. Some of you have seen your records are now referred to as electronic.

So take this process with a grain of salt. It is what it is. :dancing:

Did you try contacting USCIS and told them you are already outside normal processing time?
