I had a 13 minute call with the Tier 2 agent and he was bizarre & unprofessional. He said things like "You can file a complaint if you want to." (I never mentioned complaints at all and was cheery, happy, overly sweet as to not upset him). He didn't provide any identifying information (only last name when I asked). Wasn't able to confirm if I was inside or outside of normal processing times. Completely missed that I already had my Congresswoman reach out on my behalf. Strangely interpreted the Congresswoman step as lobbying a "complaint." He did communicate that the e-request form on USCIS has been disabled and to email as "reminder." When I said "Thank you sir, I will do that and communicate the points you recommended." He fired back with "No, no, no I'm NOT making a recommendation." Bizarre, bizarre.

My NOA1 day was November 14th 2017, so like everyone else, I'm patiently waiting for that letter  any day now saying it's approved.

I'm not so much emotional as I'm just impatient. I really wish there was a more accurate way of tracking this stuff.

I get it. Pretty impatient myself. I remember in April thinking "Oh, things are going well, I should get an answer about mid-May... and here we are!

Agreed. I don't mind waiting, just let us know where it is in the system. An accurate tracking system of exactly where the petition is at would be helpful. I'd gladly pay more money upfront for it.

I'll give myself another week before I start trying to call

This system has been in place for years. I don't think they want to fix it or make it easier. Their way is the easy way.

While you are waiting have you visited the portal for your country here on VJ? Have you gone to the website for the Embassy you will be processing through to see if there is anything that is listed that is required for the interview that you could be gathering? How about Police Certificates from other country's you may have lived in?

@PortauPrince4Love I'm sorry your call didn't go well.  Mine went "ok" as far as her being pleasant... but she wasn't really able to help with anything. She was a Tier 2 officer too.

Today I reached out to my congresswoman and her office was so positive and pleasant (and knowledgeable) It was amazing! I'm really hopeful they can get things moving.

Thank you for your help @GreenbaumI've gone through your list of contacts and followed accordingly up till the Congress contact.

We are currently at 216 days... still waiting NOA2. Nov 2nd is our NOA1.

Your turn should be coming real soon,  we are both Nov. 14th and I received my NO2 today, as expected it's a RFE, most likely for the absence of all court documents pertaining to my divorce, I'll know in a day or two when the mail arrives, California office is about 30 miles away.

At least their working on it and it's not a denial.. I was hoping for approval, but I'm OK with it, I just hope they don't ask for something I cant get.

At this point even an RFE is decent news, because you basically know you're getting approved as long as you satisfy the RFE. Hopefully they will turn it around quick for you!

At this point even an RFE is decent news, because you basically know you're getting approved as long as you satisfy the RFE. Hopefully they will turn it around quick for you!

Thank you.. I wrote to Natasha and told her about it, she's convinced the USA doesn't like Russia and will deny her for that reason,  I calmed her fears a little, explaining that it may work that way in other countries, its not the way it works here...  Best of luck to you tomorrow and Friday, I hope it happens!
