Timeline

Just a heads-up. For those awaiting NOA2 after they’ve sent their RFE replies, please check the new USCIS website.

 

USCIS received our RFE reply on June 22 as shown on the old website. Today, it shows the same update (July 12).

 

However, when we checked the new website, approval was given on July 9.

Yeah the old website isn't always updated, unfortunately.... congrats by the way!

Day 240 for me, I made one inquiry to the  USCIS ombudsman and a 2nd inquiry through the regular service request USCIC website, which stated I should expect a response by August 3rd

 

Now, I wait. :ph34r:

So i received this e-mail this morning after out of normal process inquiry. Does this mean my case is currently being adjudicated? I am kind of confused now. 226 days now.

I think that means they will be making  a decision about your case and hopefully you will get your NOA2 by end of august the latest. hopefully sooner.

It means to wait, I got the same exact response 3 weeks ago via email. :D

 

Why? "Additional background security checks" is the reason. What prompted additional security ? Who knows?

I wish I can help but I’m srill waiting for my NOA2 unfortunately. You should probably go to the Noa2—>NVC 2018 forum. There is one for June and July.

Because it is still in transit or waiting till Monday for the Embassy to log it into their system that they have received it. Just a little more patience is needed.

I’m actually a December filet. I like to check everyone status In here to give me an idea what they are working on. With old website being down and no scans. these threads is all I can count on sadly
