All of this info comes from the old website, https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

It is essentially compiled by getting a list of all the Case numbers, and putting them in the search box one by one and logging the result.

It's the same info all of the phone app Case Trackers use as well. That might be the most accessible way for you to look at these, but it's not quite as convenient as ew've made it in these monthly threads (thanks to @Naes, and a few others before her who started that!)

You'd need someone who could compile a list of all of the I-130s for the month, and then scan them all on a nightly basis, and then put them together in whatever format they wanted to display for people.

@Naes  do you happen to have the I-130s for each month?

@kennharv is also working on an online tool that post similar statistics, but not sure if he planned to do the I-130s or just the I-129Fs.

Thank you, I have the case tracker app and have run a report on my case number with 500 searches, but it doesn't look as detailed as your information.

From what I understand there is a more involved program that a few people have access to which can scan all the cases in a given month. The scans we can do on the app are just a very small portion of what they are able to see after running their full scans, which can take a few hours. Being a data/analytical person myself I was trying to figure out how to replicate the scans @x_driven_x and others have created but, alas, I just wait until their nightly post to get my analytical fix ^_^

I won't take credit for coming up with this idea, the method was built by a much more veteran VJer and passed down month by month. I just happen to volunteer to do November, and now December.

I'll just say it basically identifies a list of case numbers and then simulates putting each one into the search box on the old website and logging the text that is displayed.  From there, the data is manually manipulated in an excel spreadsheet to identify what has changed and make a nice pretty pivot table and graph. It's all of that manual stuff done in excel that makes it look different than the phone apps.  It starts out simply as a list of cases, a status, and the last update date, just like the phone apps.

It's not the most difficult thing in the world, but we also don't need 100 people calling USCIS website multiple thousands of times a day and getting them to take further action to reduce people's ability to call the website. They already made sure on the new website you have to login so everyone can't search.

It's nice to have tools and to use them in moderation, but use them too much and people start putting roadblocks in place.

The idea also was less about getting a case by case update, and more on being able to have a general idea of what dates were being worked on... as consumers of the data, however, I think every month people get more and more anxious about watching it. Especially since USCIS seems to be getting slower and slower over the last year or so.

Ok VJ-ers... I want to share my story so everyone knows what happened, and maybe this can be valuable information for some in my previous situation.

I was told an RFE was sent on 22 May, but I never received it. Having just updated my address, I thought that it might have gone to the previous address. Since USCIS mail does not forward, it would not have gotten to me. So I initiated an e-request online on 31 May and also called the next day and spoke to the Customer Service Rep. He said that since I had an "e-request", that he could not initiate a "service request". Essentially the same thing, but one is done online and the other over the phone. Well... on 13 June, I received an e-mail stating that "an RFE was sent to your most current address, please follow the instructions in the letter". WHHHOOOAAAAAA!! I never received the RFE, so how can I follow the instructions?!? So I called this morning again, requested to speak to a Tier 2 IO. She was very helpful. It turns out that my RFE was really sent to my old address. So whomever was working it yesterday, didn't actually check which address it was sent to, and lied saying that it was sent to my new updated address. However, the Tier 2 IO asked me for a fax number and sent it to me in 10 minutes!! So I now have my RFE, asking for more proof of the 2-year requirement to be met.

So thank you all for the help along the way, and for everyone that listed to me gripe and complain. I hope my story can help anyone else in this situation.

Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻 Just want to ask , why did they ask for more proof? How many pictures did you send? Sorry for that kind of question😬 I’m just scared that we can get the same rfe

Honestly, I don't think calling Congress people has the same effect it did in the past.  Immigration under the current administration has become slower and more difficult on purpose.  They have also made it harder for anyone from Congress to help people who have issues with USCIS.  There's honestly very little evidence that they have anything to do with a case getting approved or looked at any faster.  Complicated cases waiting for 150 days get approved quickly, while some seemingly simple cases can wait for approval for 9 months.  There are just too many factors involved in this process.  I know the waiting sucks, but really there is not much else anyone can do but wait.  They touch everyone's case sooner or (sometimes much) later....

My experience contacting the congressman from my district was a waste of time, assistants don't work or help as we expect them, in my case i went in person to my congressman's satellite office TWICE, they gave me a bogus help, i was looking to expedite, i insisted to the assistant, having proof that the situation of my fiance back in her country was complicated, according to congressman's office they contacted USCIS and there was no help, "case was within normal processing time frame", that upset me, cause i wasn't inquiring about time, I WAS ASKING FOR EXPEDITE  DUE TO A SITUATION, in other words I was following the guidelines of USCIS to request that, presenting enough evidence, so the office of my congressman never help me, thanks God we got approved a month later on the regular channel.

Update for my situation:

I was able to get ahold of USCIS customer service (you have to press the prompts that say you "lost" your receipt number, which will eventually get you to a representative) She said that normal processing times for the K1 are 5-7 months so since I was outside of the normal processing time she made a service request for me.... Then she said the system would not let her make a service request yet since I'm only 1 day outside the normal processing time and to call back again on Monday. :(

So I'll cal back again Monday and have them do a service request, hopefully that does something.

Day 225 for us... NOA1 Nov 2nd. 😕

We have inquired and contacted our congressman.  She said it could take 1 to 2 weeks before receiving an update from USCIS. So we wait... and wait some more. She emailed me this past Wednesday letting me know there were no updates yet. And this coming Wednesday (June 20th) will be the 2 week mark. So I'm really praying there's some kind of news or update - and that it's positive. 👍

Congrats to everyone that's approved! Hope your journey continues to be smooth. 😉

So I just talked to a USCIS representative a while ago and told me that our case is still pending. She told me that they are still processing November 1. I got frustrated and I told her that i called multiple times however they kept giving me multiple answers since last week that's the same excuse they told me. So i begged her to transfer me to a tier 2 officer. I got a call back after 3 hours and the officer was so nice. He told me that our case was APPROVED!!!! I dont know how true but did some of you experience the same??I am so excited but I want to see a proof before celebrating!!!
