No, not yet. At first they kept telling me they had my card and they were working on replacing it, then their answers started becoming too generic - telling me to send my card back to them when they already had it. I ended up getting one of my senators involved. One of his staff called me this morning and told me that CSC told them that they're having issues with their system and it won't let them print correct cards, but they anticipate it being up and running this weekend. She said she'd follow back up with them on Monday, so I'm hoping they won't let up until the card is in my hands!

Oh I see.. what exactly is the I-94? is it related directly to applying for I-90?

No not at all, it's what they used to give to tourists who entered the US before it all became electronic. For the purposes of a stamp for an LPR though, I believe its purpose is to hold your biographical information in place of a valid passport. Basically something they can put the stamp on to.

Is anyone else still waiting for the I-751 and N400?  We're Sept 2016 filers too and applied for N400 Sept 2017.  I-751 was transferred to NBC in May and we got an interview letter at the end of July for Aug, but received a letter this week that the interview is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.  It's been 23 months since we applied for ROC and 11 months for N400. I could've had 2 kids during this time and gotten another degree!

@meuy99 I am still waiting and in a similar situation.

Applied for I-751 in Sept 2016, N-400 in Jan 2018. The only update I've had is that in May 2018 my I-751 got transferred to Missouri for some reason.

Sadly, I'm gonna have to go for a 3rd infopass appointment to get a new stamp in September, since Seattle only gives 6 months at a time

BFP XX, have you heard anything since this last update? 

 

On July 25th I got an email from USCIS special cases saying "Our directorate has been informed that this recall issue is an internal system issue which is causing GC errors. We must correct this issue before reprints occur. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you. Once the issue is corrected, your GC will be reprinted and mailed to your address on file.". I haven´t heard anything since then. It seems that my e-mail and what they told you is very similar, so we might be on the same boat.

Just wanted to add here that Sherrod Brown's office followed through and my card is in production right now. @AHMILWAUKEE, I recommend following this course of action if you get nowhere with special cases. Assuming my card has the correct date (I'm holding my breath on that until I see the card myself), we can also assume the system has been corrected. Especially since @believe09 received a properly corrected card from CSC recently.

Hi guys!

 

I haven't heard a word since, and no change on my online account either 😕 I'm stuck between thinking that they are just working on it, and I could get a notification of production of new GC anytime... Or that they never received my returned card, and they aren't even working on it 😕 The officer that called me couldn't say if they had received it or not - He also said (but couldn't guarantee) that even if they hadn't received my returned card, that I was still eligible for a new GC under "USCIS Error". He said that he was investigating and making a list of people that had been victim to the second error batch, and that he was adding me to the list and sending it over. So I really don't know. I'm kind of worried that my GC was stolen (as the mail man didn't obtain a signature), and that I should report it... But then I fall immediately into the i-90 category, and I'll have to pay the $500+ for a new one, AND have another 13+ month wait 😣 So I'm hanging on for as long as I can, and hoping to get an email or notification of something positive happening 👍

I'd say it's unlikely it was stolen. Sometimes the tracking can be kind of spotty but it makes it to its destination regardless. I hope you get some updates too, hopefully the office you spoke to follows through on what he said.

Me too! If everyone in this situation could please update too, I'd really appreciate it - That way, if you guys all get another recall letter, or new cards delivered, and I don't - I can follow up. Thank you! 😊👍

@CLWA that sucks.  It is very frustrating.  My husband's passport expires in Dec (his county only issues 5 year or less passports), so he will not be able to go anywhere afterwards.  We were planning a family trip overseas, but the say things are looking, he'll have to sit out.  I got my congresswoman's office involved, so if you haven't already, I would suggest you do.

Can he go to an embassy to get a new passport? At least for my country you can do that, and I'll have to since mine expires in April 2019.

We finally had an interview on 8/15. I really don’t know why it took so long for us when everyone else had pretty much been approved...

 

They said they are doing a background check, which I thought they did with biometrics, but that once that clears my wife should receive her card. No updates online yet, but will be happy to be done with this process...

 

She is going to do the n400 once the green card comes through.

We could, but the process is difficult.  It took so long last time and he basically had to pay someone to courier it for him and do it in person.  He'd rather not spend the money if he's going to get his US passport soon.

Is your field office SF?
