Awww that's great! No, I still haven't heard anything. Same case status I've had since May 3. But you've given me hope. You also filed an N-400 in Dec 2017?

Let me take that back, i submitted my application and docs on Nov. 15, 2017.  Then they posted on myUSCIS case status that they are actively reviewing my N-400 on Dec. 13, 2017.  Not heard from them until May 7, 2018 that they transferred my ROC to another office.

I got anxious so I called their contact number on June 5th and inquire about my case, i was so saddened when i was told to wait for about another 12 more months due to backlogs.  So i was just like, ok, it is what it is.  Then yesterday, i was still at work and just happened to check the app on my phone and there it is, on June 8th they scheduled an interview for my N-400 on July 13th at 10 AM...

I'm not sure if the call i did made them pull out my case or what, because three days after my call, they scheduled an interview.  At any rate, i was so surprised and cried on my desk when i saw the notice that they sent an interview letter.  I hurried to get home and there it is in the mail box.

So that chapter has closed and hopefully pass the interview like Ozgirl1981 did...i'm guessing you're not far, maybe just days away.  hope you let me/us know.

I hope so as well. I've called multiple times to check on my case and I pretty much get the same answer which is for me to wait. When I check on my N-400 case per my USCIS account, I have a Feb 2020 completion date. Seeing as you've heard back from them, I'm hoping I won't have to wait that long

Hello laballadell!

I am in the same boat as well as @CLWA

I filed I751 mid sept 2016 and filed for n400 late dec 2017.

I contacted my congressman and they checked it. I received a letter saying that they will be processing I751 with N400 when my turn for N400 comes.

Considering @COBOY2016 's timeline I would say they will contact us in 3 months or so.

Where did you see that your completion date is Feb 2020?

My USCIS account is showing Feb 2019.

Please let us know if you hear an update, I will keep you guys posted, too.

Cheers!

That letter that they told me to send on 5/26 with a deadline of 5/30 has not even left my state despite paying for priority shipping. I know it's not guaranteed to arrive, but that's kind of annoying considering I've had first class mail get to California in 2 days. I'm not sure if this means they will not accept the letter. Not sure what else could be expected with such a tight deadline but I did what I could. I haven't heard anything else from California, but I'm keeping an eye on my informed delivery dashboard to see if any packages are coming. Right now I feel like I will not receive a corrected green card but I hope to be proven wrong.

I just checked my online account, and it says that my new GC went into production today, and that they will mail it to me. I will be checking USPS informed delivery too - Check your online account to see if it updated too! I'll keep you posted on my case.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

Got an update today that my card has been mailed to me. I don't know If my email to the USCISContactCenterMidwest@uscis.dhs.gov email address a few days ago to inquire about my card status, prompted the action, or if it was just coincedence. They did email me back with a generic email basically telling me to just wait... But then I have seen movement since. So it might be worth emailing them for an update, and see if it prompts action on your case too 👍

I tried emailing them a few days ago and the email bounced back as unknown. I replied to the chain we had going so it's not like I typed it in wrong. Seeing that others are able to email them, I wonder if they set up a rule in their server to block my emails for some reason. I honestly thought they'd shut down their mailbox prematurely.

I definitely went through that email... And like you, I replied rather than starting a new thread. How strange! Try again... Maybe it was an error? Otherwise, I would call them maybe? To speak to a tier 2 officer, and explain to them that you can't contact them via email any more.

Just got a response. They said while they can't give me case-specific info via email, some cards require additional review to ensure USCIS's information is up-to-date before re-issuing. They didn't provide a reason as to why and they didn't directly state whether my card is under additional review.

Hi all, it's been a while since I posted on this thread because I've just kind of been waiting for things to move along, but there's been development so I wanted to update and see if anyone had experienced this or heard of someone who has. My husband had his N400 interview yesterday. All went well with that, he passed the civics test and was told all the paperwork looked good and he was going to be recommended for approval, except that he can't until the I751 is approved first. I (sponsor) was at the immigration center too, knowing we still had the pending I751 from our Sept 2016 filing, and assuming we would do the interview for both at the same time yesterday. The IO had the I751 stack with him, but for some reason my husband said he couldn't do the adjudication on it and is sending it back to who knows where for approval, which could require an interview or perhaps not. He gave my husband an N14 form that neither recommended approval or rejected it, it just said the I-751 needed approval. We were told to call USCIS this week, so we'll be doing that tomorrow and I'll report back.

My hope is that the fact that our I751 is now at 21+ months processing, plus we've already had the N400 interview, might trigger the I751 to be finalized, however I'm also aware that it could cause even more untold delays.

They didn't provide a reason as to why and they didn't directly state whether my card is under additional review.

Well USCIS have outdone themselves this time. I received my replacement GC in the mail this morning... And the resident since date is still incorrect 🙄
They have literally just printed out a duplicate card, with the same error.

So at this point, after a robotic, unhelpful conversation with someone at the USCIS call center, and to avoid submitting yet another long winded Service Request, I am mailing the card straight back to the Eastern Forms Center.

It's not the end of the world... But man, I'm sick of having to spend time writing detailed letters that no one apparently bothers to read, traveling hours to my nearest local office for stamps, and renewing my driver's licence every six months. It's tedious, and it's expensive! I really hope that they accept receipt of my letter (as the original recall letter stated a deadline of 20 days) and that they can fix it there. I'm going to be really annoyed if I have to go the i-90 route after all of this 😐
