My spouse's Conditional Residency Status expired on March 5, 2018 and so we marched into the UCIS office and received a stamp in his passport on 2/7/2018 extending the Conditional Residency Status till September 7, 2018 with the indication under the stamp "I-751 Pending."  This was all due to the fact that we are traveling in Thailand from May 15 to August 8, 2018.

Well, a relative just sent us a copy of his I-751 Approval which was issued on 5/24/2018 stating that the Green Card will be issued within the next 60 days.

My questions are the following:

1.  Will he be able to re-enter the country with just this stamp or is this stamp now "null and void?"

2.  We have a "hold" place with the post office regarding our mail delivery until June 30.  Will they "hold" the Green Card until then if it arrives quickly?

So complicated all of this is!  We will place a call to UCSiS, but any immediate information will be helpful in sleeping this evening.
