Probability of Canadian PRs working in STEM getting asked for CV and being sent to AP

I am curious to know:

1. How often do Canadian PRs working in STEM get asked for CV and are sent to AP?

2. How long does the AP in such cases last on average?

3. Does the type of visa (K1 or CR1 or IR1), length of relationship, length of co-habitation etc. have any effect on chances of being put on AP for education/work background?

4. What can one do to either avoid AP or reduce the time spent in AP if they work in STEM field?

Where are you originally from as that will determine probability of being asked for cv. I’d also be prepared with cv and whatever else you think they may ask for at the interview time.

I am originally from India. Curious if Indians get asked for CV often? Also, I had previously withdrawn k1 visa application after interview, wonder if that means they have already "vetted" me and if that means chances of being asked for CV this time around might be lower?

High probability.  Check out a thread about ds-5535.

1. All the time

2. 1 week to several months

3. No

4. Provide the ds-5535 and CV at interview
