I know.. I'm May 2017 filer from VSC and still waiting for my ROC approval. I guess it is best to wait for the approval of my ROC before applying for N-400, though my N-400 application is ready to submit online.

which state you reside?

I live in MA. and yes, if I could turn back time I wouldn't apply for N400. It's better to wait until you get ROC done. For me, although the situation I experienced was rare but it does not worth betting your whole family life for a little bit faster process. Something might happen unexpectedly depending on IO you met. If they deny the case, it would be both cases. However, many people applied both and ended up getting citizenship without problem, which is awesome.

Good luck to you.

Congrats that your case was approved. May I asked whether the I/O said they will approve your case  right after the I751 interview?

Thanks

Thx. The officer told us as we were walking in her office that even if i approve your case today you won't get your card soon because i can't load the information on the system since the new system is not running yet.as soon as it comes up ill. Then she said soon you will hear from me. At some point i heared her say, you will get a decision, approval, denial or if we need something from you. So that was no help. But i knew it has to be an approval, why not.i must have broken the record for time wait after an i 751 interview. 75 days. Ive not seen one case take that long, some were close, almost as long but most get approve same day, few within aweek or a month, 2 months top.(except cases with some issues). I even made a case enquiry that mentioned to them to please make a decision i don't care what it is even a denial just dont make me wait longer please. Having said all that. I promise you, you will get you approval very soon if your marriage is real. That's how its always done. This is a country of laws. If i had money and was betting man ill bet all of it on you getting updates next week. Maybe the week after if your unlucky, its your time anyway. 30 to 48days after transfer is when most people hear back. 35days after transfer for me. Don't worry about the io attitude. In my case i was called for an interview for no reason. We had ton of evidence but still we qualify and had clean case.so we got approved even after some hassle and delay.Same for you. You are eligible under 3 year rule so you will be ok. Good luck

My wife got a combo interview.  The officer only asked for more recent bills (2018) for the I-751 portion.  After that, I was told to leave the office

while my wife was interviewed for the N-400.  She is a citizen now.  Good luck!

Called uscis today and apparently my case was transferred to nbc in st louis Missouri. Filed 751 June 2017 csc and n400 june 2018z has this occurred to others. My n400 estimated waiting time was 10-19 months.

I Wanted to open this thread for those who had their cases transferred to NBC so we can localize information about what is happening with these cases.

If you had your case transferred to NBC, please post here about any new movement that happened after.

Note: some people had interviews, transfer to NBC then approvals.

Some had approvals, transfer to NBC, then recieved their card.

I dont think these scenarios where there was MAJOR movement on the case before the NBC transfer follow the same path that dormant cases who were transferred to NBC will follow.

After my interview I got approved then 13 days later it was transferred to NBC since then nothing change. After your transfer to NBC how long before they get back to you ?

I’ve been a Citizen for a year and a half now. I haven’t paid attention to immigration since and consciously been forgetting what happened and how long it took, Im still healing.

good luck.
