Naturalization Complete - final check

Hey All,

I have a couple of quick questions. My wife completed the naturalization process. After this she registered to vote, went to the Social security office, and got her passport.

Is there anything left to do?

Is it possible to get rid of all visa paper work?

Thanks!

Congratulations on your wife's naturalization. Not sure if she also had a name change during the naturalization or if her Driver's license has any restrictions but I know I had to update my DL too. Other than that it sounds like you're set.

Out of curiosity: Did your wife also get the passport card?

I scanned everything visa related and put it on google drive.

Hey little immigrant,

Thanks for the quick reply. My wife didn't get a passport card. Since we live in PA we are just going to get a secure license and use that for domestic travel.

If you have Global Entry, you need to change citizenship info with them.

Shred all visa paperwork or have a bonfire with visa paperwork.  That's what we are planning to do.  I haven't found a right day to do it probably this fall then I would celebrate that I don't have to deal with USCIS any longer!
