Hello! I am 21yrs old living in Japan, just wanted to ask if I could use the Parental consent that my mom already made or Do we have to make a parental advise? Thank you!

Does Japan require a 21 year old to get parental consent to get married? According to my research you do not need to get parental consent.

So you are in Japan na but going to the USA to get married or getting married in Japan? The parental consent is if you are getting married in the Philippines, but if you are already in Japan that is not required by the US Embassy at all. But if you plan on going back to the Philippines before going to the USA you will have to go to CFO and they require it.

If you are getting married in Japan then moving to the USA then that is NOT required po. It is a Philippine requirement for mainly CFO.

Where in Japan are you na if you don't mind me asking?

Who requires the consent/advice letter in Japan?    As Cyberfx stated if it is not required by Japan you don't need it.  Embassy isn't going to ask for it.

Only in the Philippines.

Please advise if you are getting married in a church or in a municipal hall?

What it looks like according to the website is that that issue only pertains to you IF BOTH OF YOU ARE FILIPINOS. Are you trying to get a marriage license or to register your marriage?

A Marriage License may be issued to couples who are both Filipino nationals wishing to get married at the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo. Both parties must submit the requirements relevant for them.
