Hi Guys,

I sent my applications in April 2017

Did Biometrics on May 2017

Got a letter from USCIS on May asking for supporting documents regarding Sponsorship and submitted on June 2017.

Then saw a notification on USCIS website saying "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" on SEPTEMBER 2017 til MARCH 2017.

MARCH - May 17, 2018, got another notification saying "Cannot provide Information...."

Received interview NOTICE on MAY for June.

My question is it was more than a year since I submitted my application, and I read on one of the topics here about "expiration of Medical examination" which I submitted along with my application over a year ago. Is it really necessary to have another Medical Examination?

And the last thing is, do I need to provide an updated Affidavit of Support (I-894) when you already submitted along with your application?

Anyone who has the same timeline like me? I know it's a little bit longer than usual. I would appreciate your response. Thanks in advance.

My timeline is very similar. PD was April 2017, interview was May 2018. I did not have to do another medical and did not have to give updated I-894. They request that only if it was not submitted prior. Do not over think it, just read your notice and bring what is requested.

It's nerve wracking to say the least but yes, I believe the letter is a form letter and pretty much everyone gets the same one. Good luck at your interview!!

Hi Guys

I would like to ask some questions about marriage based AOS interview requirements needed.

1. I sent my application on APRIL 2017, including my husband's ITR copy for the past tax year.

Do they require this year's ITR?

Do I need to bring another bank statement which I submitted on my RFE last September 2017?

I would appreciate your answer from anyone who has the same experience?

Yes, you should absolutely get another Medical Examination and bring it with you to the interview. We submitted in October 2016, had interview in March 2018 and he could not approve us on the spot because the Medical had expired so we had to go do another one and try and submit it ASAP but it did delay the approval process by a little while. It sounds like your medical will be expired by the time of your interview date, so I highly recommend taking care of that beforehand!

Yes, it was not an option not to submit the medical when I submitted in Oct 2016

I realize yours is longer than mine. But having delays were not your fault. Its quite expensive having another medical examination.

Yes, but they will not approve as of Jan 2, 2018 if the medical is not on the new form updated Oct 2017 (https://www.uscis.gov/i-693). Our IO told us that a) the medical was expired and we needed a new one and b) it had to be specifically done using the new, updated form. It is expensive, but you will have to get it done either way so for the sake of approval time it is better to have it when you go for the interview :)
