I am looking for someone who may have had to get a South Korea police check for the K1 visa process. I see you can do it by mail and it takes about a month. It also looks like you can apply at the Embassy in Bangkok, or at the consulate in Phuket. My fiancee lives in Phuket, so I am going to have her call over there in the next few days, and maybe even stop by to see if she can get the police check done there. From what I read online you can apply at the consulate with the proper form and documents, then they will call you to pick it up when it comes in about a week later. Just wondering if anyone has done it this way in Phuket, or if needed I will fly her to Bangkok to get it done at the embassy there. I don't see a charge for it to be done other than correct size passport photo, and filling out the form. But I prefer to hear from someone that has actually been thru the process. I mean the internet is a great tool, But I'm a french model on the internet...LOL so I take what I read there with a grain of salt.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. Does she have anyone in Korea who could go to the police station and get it for her? This link is for the Canadian visa but it explains how to get police clearance from Korea from outside the country. It would probably be faster to have someone go and get it for her and then send it via courier.
