F2A with stepson ( 5 yrs. old)

Hello, can somebody share your experience or help us with our status, I am married to LPR, processing our visa and will be having our interview this coming June 8. I have a son who is 5 years old by now, his my child from past relationship, his under his fathers surname. 

My husban file a petition for me, upon completing DS260, I noted that my son with come with me, the NVC ask for his details,documents and visa fee. On the interview letter both are names is written. We already completed our medical.

My question is, from the Philippines do I need to secure any documents proving that  I stand alone for my son. Any documents will they ask me at the embassy or upon exciting the country or state entry??? 

Please help me.

Is he illegitimate? If so, the mother had sole parental custody even if using the fathers surname. That is our situation and it presented absolutely no problems

Yes He is illegitimate, meeting I don’t need to secure anything from the DSWD?

We did not, we just did the required k2 paperwork and he breezed through the process without interaction with the father or dswd
