NVC WAITING

Hi everyone! i needed clarification about NVC waiting. it’s almost 8 weeks since i i received the letter of approval from NVC. and it told us to inquire after a month. and so i emailed them on the 17th of May to inquire and got a reply attached below. 

 

im just wondering coz they sent confirmation last April 3rd and it will be 2 months on June. is that the 8 weeks they were referring to or our priority date which will be 8 weeks from now on? any help would do 😣

Hi!

We are waiting for the NVC case# too. I think NVC just received your case  from USCIS on May 17. I hope you do not have to wait 8 weeks from the May 17th... but looks like. The most important is that you are already in NVC!
