Hello everyone,

I posted in another thread about the interview yesterday. But wanted to let you know that my interview went very well and quickly, in less than 2 hours I was in and out of the consulate. The CO was extremely sensitive about my time constrains and made it happen under the August bulletin, so I am getting my passports back next week, after the long weekend.

Thank you all for the support during this time. Next step, drive to Boston, probably by Wed or Thu.

:)

Congrats, brah!

Hi All,

I am EB2 applicant and had my interview on August 16th at Montreal Consulate. The officer took my finger print and asked for my status in Canada. Then I waited for 1 hour and another officer called me at another window. I did not have a job offer and it is not required in my case. The officer asked me about my PhD school, my area of specialization, my future plan in the US. I replied that I am waiting for a project to work on as a postdoc but still not approved yet by the sponsor lawyer and I will start my company as I provided USCIS in my RFE. Then she looked at my file and said, yes you have so many people support your petition but I need your CV. I replied that I did know that you need my CV but you can find it in my file. She replied, I need an updated CV. and then she gave me a white 221g slip and said you are fine but send us the updated CV and it will be reviewed in a month and the visa stamp can take up to 3 months. I was driving crazy and under panic attack. Then the embassy send me an email two days later to provide my CV that show thesis title abstract, transcripts, publications and employment history. I replied back with these documents and still under Administrative Process from August 15th till now Sept. 23. Anyone here may provide his advice and tell if the visa will be issued or denied. What are the possible scenarios?

I'm an EB2 US visa applicant. I've been waiting for my interview since March 21, 2018. I'm not sure how close I am to getting one schedule as the NVC office really does not offer any tangible assistance. Anyone with any helpful ideas? For those who've had their interviews, has anyone received their passports with the Immigrant visas?

I guess we're both within the same neighborhood with regards to timing. I'm hoping that something happens this month as the priority date is now current again. The last person on this thread that got an interview date was case completed on April 30th which is close to yours. I believe you'll be next soon, hopefully.

Hi Shaki and CanMon,

Thanks for updating your information. As per my knowledge, there are few members already received their interview date and others are waiting for interview in this thread.
