Had interview today. Approved and ceac status changed to issued. But in explanation column says administrative processing. How many days to get passport back? Any idea

Congratulations!  How was the new facility or did you have it at the old location?  From other visajourney threads it seems to average 5ish days.

We went 30 minutes early and they  sent us back. So please go at 9 am only otherwise they will turn you back. They don’t allow any back pack so don’t take any bag or backpack with you. Only take file holder with you. Staffs are super nice and the lady interviewed us was very nice. Questions- how did you find this job? Where are you going to work? What is the highest level of education? Then said “ you are approved and will get passports back in 2 weeks “ They keep original police clearance certificate also.

Congratulations, this is great news! My I-140 was approved in Oct first week and still has not reached NVC. However, I'm trying to get all my documentations in order. I'm hoping this will reduce any delays from my end.

Specifically, on the NVC requirement for an employment letter, do you know what exactly they are looking for in this letter? In my case, the approved PERM is for a senior position in our company and I've not been promoted to that position yet. Hopefully, this does not tie me down on the condition that I need to get promoted within the organization to receive my green card. Any insights would help!

They look for what type of job you do with the company, wage per hour, location of job, also it should be dated within a month of the interview date

Thanks for your quick response! So, that would imply that I would need two employment letters requests, one at the time to send for NVC processing and the second one, with an updated date, one month prior to the  scheduled interview date?

Well are you being hired for the position outlined in the PERM or not?

Yes, they will promote  me for approved PERM position but I don’t have that position right now. It’s basically the same role without the “senior” added to the tile.

Appointment at 9 am. They asked us to come back by 9   Only 10 people in line up. I think as it was first day at the new location they saw only few people.

Thank you. How was it inside? Did they take you to another floor or room? I’ve seen only the screening/security area and it’s small.

They have stated they will not permit queues at the new location and even posted this video on their FB page...
