Didn't have to call! IL arrived at 3:36 am, interview June 29th, at 7:30.  Hope there are many more to follow!

I think, IR/CR wait times will be reduced to a matter of hours, kinda like a drive thru... EB applicants, however, will continue telling tales of patience and how their journey was to Mordor... s

Just resurfacing this post. For all those that had interviews in May, could you please let us know how long it took to receive your passport? Asking for those opted for pick up at the local post office in Montreal.

I had my interview on a Friday and received my passport the following Wednesday. I used the pickup point closest to the Montreal consulate, and took a photo ID and proof of address (any form of mail) for pickup.

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Had my interview on 22nd May(Wed), got passport back w/ visa on 24th May (Friday). I had it sent directly to my home in Ottawa.

Called NVC today, usual answer wait and do not know what month they are doing the visa interview schedule now. NVC not even helpful to give an approximate time period, if anybody know anything please post. I can see people from February still waiting for interview schedule.

I called NVC last week. They guy told that "When Montreal consulate will ask for one E2, we will send one E2 case from our queue. There is no guaranty  that it will be based on earliest case closed date"

Hi, I am new to VJ, and just found this post. This was really helpful as I am also one of those very looking forward to seeing an interview scheduled.

I got the last email stating all docs received from NVC on Feb/27 2019 with EB2.

Looking at all replies, I guess I can expect another follow up email in either June or July.

I will keep it posted.
