Had my interview this morning. Approved..

There were more people under family-based category (K) than EB and some of those K's appeared to be refused. My interview seemed like a friendly conversation in a relaxed environment. The entire process from the point you enter the front door up to leaving the building took around 2 hours. There were no surprises.

Good luck folks...

One of his posts says he got the case complete in early Feb. Maybe he just got lucky

In that case i should expect my interview to be late May and early June considering case complete at March 14.

From the stats, it could be anywhere from 2 - 6 months

It always looks like they are in sequential order. Someone with cc in December would definitely get interview date before someone in February. If that analogy is true, February dates will clear in April and May and March ppl should expect their interview around May June or July the latest. Conditional on accuracy of the Feb 6th that you provided for Lombardi

vRace, you don't get the passport back right away after interview (or even next day). In case of approval, consulate keeps your passport and returns it via courier only. When you have your interview appointment scheduled, at that point you'll be asked to register your appointment with a courier service (Canada Post). Applicant has two options to choose from, either pick up passport (along with immigrant package) from selected courier location or have it mailed out to a home address of his choice. There's an additional fee of $20 if you opt for home delivery.

The visa officer who approved my case told me delivery of passport/IV package could take up to 2 weeks. But I also read somewhere that it can take as little as 72 hours in some cases. I'd say plan for being "out of passport" for at least 1 week after the interview. If you are already working in the USA, you'll need an alternative to get back in (e.g NEXUS with a valid I-94 - remember to remove it from your passport when interview is done) or maybe work remotely from Canada if your job nature/employer permit. All the best.

Had my interview this week too, arrived 20mins before my appointment time (7:30am), stayed at Courtyard Marriott- its just few blocks away, highly recommended especially when you have little ones.

I have seen people mentioned it took 1 hour to verify document then 2 hours to be called for interview- that was my expectation but good news for others reading this is that mine took like 20mins for document verification and I was called about 45 mins, in fact from when we stepped into the consulate till when left was little above 1 hours- experience was awesome.

I was asked to sign and print my name on a from but consular did not give me much time to read or neither gave me a copy but I knew it has to do with the fact that I am getting Green Card based on my employer filling for me.

My wife was not asked a single question, for me they are:

How much I make and what is my current status!

Nothing much, I took the oath first followed by fingerprinting, then questions I mentioned above.

Also did fingerprint for my children as they are all under 18 or so.

Then was handed a green paper for some instructions and heading as - WELCOME TO AMERICA.

I was told it will take 1 week to 2 weeks to get my passport back, I haven't receive it yet as I live on the West coast unlike others on this forum who received theirs in 48-72 hours , living in Montreal or Toronto area might be possible in this time frame but for West coast like me I will plan for minimum 1 week except you signed up for express courier, I signed up for regular mail.

Since I completed my interview in less than 2 hours, went back to the hotel and call airline for early exit out of Montreal!

As some people said, I went online and check status but still not updated I guess because my interview time and process was really short but by the time I got to the airport and on the plane, the status has changed to issued.

Two days after I received email from Canadapost, OUR passport picked up and will be delivered 4 working days after my interview date.

All the best to others waiting for interview or interview date the consulate.
