Hello Everyone, I had my interview yesterday and got it approved. The lady Consular Office was very nice and friendly. The interview was pretty generic as described by other candidates before......

Your job location ? Have you ever been refused US visa or refused entry at the border ? How did you come to Canada ?  What is the longest time you lived in USA on TN Visa ?

Make sure you have all the required civil docs in order including a recent letter from the employer.

Good Luck Everyone...

Congratulations Ratri! This is great news. Did they ask you for a resume, or any detailed questions about your job duties etc? I heard at some other consulates, they can grill on the approved I140, job functions etc.

They did ask me question related to the type of employment and the work location. Weather I will be working for the company in the their office location or work for their client in different client location ? Since I work with the clients, my answer was that I will be working at the client location most of the time. I did take all the documents including my Diploma, transcript, tax return, resume but consular office did not want to see those!

As for employment letter, I did not have it notarised. I didn't think its required but it has to be current within 30 days!

I received email as well today for third week in March, cc closed in October 10.

Anyone know about the medical doctor in Vancouver/Surrey, am in the west and thinking if I go do the medical in surrey it might be a better option than going to Montreal for medical/interview about same time- risky kind of, except I need to have 4-5 days between the medical and interview at Montreal.

Will appreciate suggestions from anyone.

Thank you and good luck to the rest people still waiting for interview.
