Fingers crossed that the trend in London will be extrapolated to Montreal too.

Amen! Awesome, thanks for doing that, I did some quick mental math but it’s great to see it in that visual. Hopefully MTL makes a complete shift just like London did in the up

coming batch of letters. Still think no harm in sending those emails though. Best case (highly optimistic): they’ll acknowledge it and say yes we’re working on allocating a higher proportion of EB for the next release now that IR/CR/K1 are almost up to date, worst case: no reply other than the standard automated reply that the system shoots as soon as we hit send.

Took a first pass at the email, sharing the Google Doc link here to review. It’s a bit long of course but tried to get the action highlighted up top.

For F2B, same template, please replace the word EB with F category and it still holds good. Unless there’s any major concerning feedback, I’m hoping we can align on a common time and send this out. Let me throw one in there: Thursday, Jan 27, 11AM EST (anything in that hour is fine too). Thanks all!

Thanks for taking time to draft this letter!!! Timing (Thursday, Jan 27, 11AM EST) works perfect for me and I've saved it in my draft which can be sent whenever is ready.

Excellent letter!  Thank you for all your hard work!  We are going to get our photos redone next week (we were short one) , in anticipation that we will have positive results, shortly.

Awesome - thanks @VA21202 for writing this up.  I made few small changes just to tighten it up a bit?   What do you think -  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1H3bSde6QvydeiLoc8WXKrLbD7GOP51Wv9mpv0TaiDaA/

I've been looking all over the place trying to find more information on how long the line at Montreal is, and why in the world it's taking so long. At least I have others to commiserate with now.

I added my information to the Google doc - thanks for putting that together. It looks like this could drag on for another 6 months for me, since nothing is presumably being done this month with covid restrictions in Quebec? When my company's lawyer started putting my O1 petition together, they were confident the entire process would take 6-9 months. Now it's 4 years later and I am still waiting

Welcome @corg!  Looks like our dates are quite similar.  Yep our lawyer told us about 12-18 months back in 2018...super frustrating...hoping to see the light at the end of the tunnel soon.  We are attempting to bring some attention to the EB category at the Montreal Consulate by emailing a group letter tomorrow - feel free to send as well!

Perfect, thanks again @VA21202.   So the plan is to email it at/around 11am tomorrow, yes?

Hoping you all can join in sending this email out to the consulate since you expressed interest and are eagerly waiting for EB updates from Montreal. Please use the template as seen in the Google doc below. Here’s hoping for some form of acknowledgement from them, good luck to us :) Thank you all so much!

P.S. Please hit the like button here AFTER you have sent the email so we’ll all know (trying to avoid multiple confirmation messages)
