Yes, sure I think the FB folks engaged here can send this email along with us since we’re essentially in the same neglected boat.

The government mandate to prioritize reunification of family has expired and is no longer valid. This is now Montreal's discretion to create such a huge discrepancy in wait time between the two groups. This deserves more attention.

Could you please share the source of the removal of the prioritisation guidelines? I am interested because applicants in the immediate family categories are under  the impression it is still in place…. Would help to know what the current guideline is.
