Just checked mine and still says AT NVC.  I'm Jan 2020 DQ.  Fingers crossed.....

Looks like you should be next-if they continue with only two interviews per month from our spread sheet!   Not sure where the numbers in the E column above come from, but there can't be that many of us waiting for interviews.

While it seems a shocking number considering we only have 2 per month here, I don’t think they are publishing false federal information. It’s likely that our little forum here is a drop in the ocean. Looks like the number in Column E comes from the Visa Stats page:

https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Immigrant-Statistics/MonthlyIVIssuances/NOVEMBER 2021 - IV Issuances by Post and Visa Class.pdf

The 39 includes 7 EB1, 31 EB3, and 1 EW1 which I believe is unskilled-worker employment based visa for skills that have a shortage right now. Hopefully more EB based folks see our thread here and more importantly hope Montreal can use the 300 slots they’ve had previously for IR and CR on EB now that things are in a better/almost current spot there.

The numbers also include spouses and children of the beneficiaries.  Prior to Covid there were around 340 Canadians in the E category waiting for interviews, and you are correct our forum is only a small representation.

Has anyone's status on CEAC changed from at NVC to READY TO BE SCHEDULED?  If not then, what is the likelihood that any of us will get ILs for February?

I may be wrong, but I have the strong suspicion that they wait for the Visa Bulletin for the following month to come out before sending the letters for EB's and F's which are covered by it, contrarily to CR/IR and K visas. That may be why they can send letters to them earlier in the month.

I have noticed the past few months, except last month, all the letters were coming out soon after the Visa Bulletin was published. Last month they sent the letters to the other categories earlier, but ours came out again after the Visa Bulletin. They probably don't want to send a letter to someone too early and then find out that the priority date has retrogressed and there is no visa available in his/her category in the month of the interview and have to cancel.

The Visa Bulletin has been coming out lately around the 15th-16th of the month. The letters would probably be coming out a few days after that in about 2 weeks. Hope this is the case and many of you guys get good news this month!

That should be almost around the same time as your interview!  Please keep us posted as to how it goes and what questions we can anticipate!  Good luck!

Yes, that's what I would think. The January Visa Bulletin came out at the end of the day on Thursday Dec 16th and I got my interview letter on the 22nd (which was actually dated the 21st and sent in the middle of the night), so 3-4 working days later.

Of course, I will let you know how the interview went and what to expect!

Hopefully they really start giving some tender loving care to the EB category. Having to wait that long, especially when other categories are moving full speed, is pure torture!

Did your status on CEAC change before you got your IL?

I don't know, I wasn't checking regularly. I just checked right after getting the IL and it was changed to "In transit".  It stayed like that for a little over a week and it is now showing as  "Ready".

@Stephenc111 You are next in line to get IL. Please let us know if your CEAC status shows "In Transit".

It may change to "In Transit" only when they send the IL because it was indicated in small prints under "In Transit" that an interview date had been issued. What I don't know though is if there is another type of notification when they are close to issuing the IL or if it jumps directly from "At NVC" to "In Transit".

Just checked. The status is "at NVC".

Well, I hope will get the IL this month. It has been a very long wait. It's for my son.
