Also they stopped publishing Visa statistics from August 2021 onwards. Seems something very fishy.

I just sent an email to the Montreal Consulate, asking them to verify that no interviews in the EB category are scheduled for November.  Likely will not hear now until Monday.  First Covid, then Proclamations, then being at the bottom of the tier rankings, we are all but forgotten!  It has now been 1009 days since our case was sent to The Department of State!

My husband had tourist visa and he had made several trips to US while i824 was in process. His tourist visa expired last and we are planning to apply for renewal. My lawyer said they might give because of the long processing time of immigrant visa. You just need to convince them that you will return to Canada to complete GC procress.

@Blueeyes1989: How fast is the Mumbai consulate? I am wondering if I can do the other way (transfer my case from MTL to Mumbai). My DQ is in June so even if they reset my DQ I dont lose much.

Is there any thread which I can track for Mumbai consulate progress???

Website updated today to reflect latest. Seems like IR1/IR2 got updated to March 2021 like we observed and Tier 3,4 is now saying October 2019. Used to say September and October prior to this update.

@JG_ and @marko1111 Please reach out to consulate/NVC if you haven’t already and we’d really appreciate your updates. Thanks!

“As of October 18, 2021, most IR1, IR2, IR5, and K visa cases being scheduled for interview were documentarily qualified at the National Visa Center in March 2021. Most Tier Three and Four cases scheduled for interview were documentarily qualified in October 2019”
