So my FH should be here mid/late June, current plan is for him to arrive June 23rd, woo! I've contacted the local court here in Phoenix and searched online everywhere but can't seem to find any info on the actual courthouse wedding. I'm good with the certificate and all that and as their website states, we'll get it the same day. However, the clerk wasn't able to answer me on how exactly we get the judge to marry us. Anyone in the Phoenix (or general AZ area, we're open to travel) area know how the heck to schedule this? I live closest to Mesa, so that's the one I've been using as a home base thus far.

Select and book a date. Once you have your marriage license, you are ready to start planning the court ceremony. Search online or call the court to find out which days they perform wedding ceremonies. The times and dates will vary depending on the location, but typically these are performed during business hours from Monday to Friday

My original post states that we already attempted to contact the court. The way it works for Arizona is that you book an appointment for the marriage license and as far as I'm aware, the courthouse is a different process. Searching online and contacting the court has been futile, as my post states. My post is intended for Arizona-based K1 recipients specifically, as every state is different.

I also saw this "How-To" guide online, it is not a complete guide for Arizona courthouse weddings.

Guys.. I said a few times now, including in the original post, that we already contacted the court clerk. I'm posting here because they weren't able to help - maybe we just got someone clueless, but getting information from someone who went through the process here in AZ specifically would be incredibly helpful as they don't post anything online, either.

I'm not trying to be rude, I'm trying to be as clear and concise as possible, I see all too often people get jumped on these forums because they didn't do enough research. We did our research and tried contacting the court itself, please be aware of that.

I"m not trying to be rude, either, but that is who will have your answer. Even if someone else on here has done it, they cant do it FOR you. Even then, every county is different, which is why I specified YOUR county clerks office.

Have you GONE to the clerks office in person to discuss it?

No, I work during office hours.

I'm asking for someone to say what the process is to book the actual courthouse ceremony, not actually do it for me. Much like there is a process posted on here for the K1, and example guides, I'm asking for something akin to that in the realm of booking a courthouse ceremony within Maricopa County, which is fairly large. If someone has advice on a different county, I'm open to it. It was never the intention that someone go out and book something for me or research something for me - only that someone who did this in the past, in AZ, give me their experience.

You keep getting the same answers because who else in the world would you call besides the county clerk or courthouse??????Arizona must be a very different state. Good luck

Someone who has gotten married in the courthouse. In AZ. That is why this is specifically asking people married in the courthouse in AZ. If I walked up to someone on the street knowing that they were married in the courthouse in AZ, they should have a simple answer to this question. Apparently the court clerk does not. We have processes and guide documents posted online for the K1 because other people have gone through it before. You don't just stick with what USCIS says, you seek guidance from what other folks have gone through before you.

Only two people, including yourself, have commented here. This post is intended for people who have gotten married in AZ in the courthouse, as the title/OP suggest.  If you don't fit those criteria, this post is not meant for you, as you will not know. They (people who have been married in the courthouse in AZ) have been through the process and will know. Just like you know the process for K1 and can likely answer questions specific to Jamaica following NOA2 since each country is different. I can't tell you how many times I've had to come to VisaJourney because the Montreal embassy couldn't answer questions. Following your logic, you would assume that the embassy would be my point of contact. Sometimes that is not that case and you have to go to someone with prior experience. That is also the case here. If you have not been married in the courthouse in AZ, of course you won't know. It also was very clear that this question was not meant for someone who didn't meet that criteria. If you have, you have gone through this process and you will know.

The county clerk did not know what to do. Someone who has gone through the process - in AZ - will know. You obviously do not because you are getting married in New York and I would not expect someone in New York to answer this question.

This question is ONLY relevant to those married in the courthouse in AZ.

Please only comment if you have been married in the courthouse in AZ - if it was not apparent before, I'm only seeking answers from people with this specific experience. Other people married other ways or in different states will not know the answer to this. The court clerk also could not answer the question.

Every state has a very different process for this. That is why you should not comment on this if you don't fit this criteria. You will not know the answer and I don't expect you to know the answer. I mean, even the county clerk didn't know the answer, so I'm not surprised.

In some cases, even courthouses/clerk's offices within the same state are different (at least as far as requiring an appointment or not for getting a marriage license).
