  Do you not go many places? Just OTOH, Vail, Estes Park, Steamboat Springs, Aspen, Golden all less diverse than Boulder. Boulder is middle of the pack. It may be among the least diverse if you are just looking at larger cities (with populations ~100000 or more).

 

  Colorado generally ranks among the most diverse states though. I don't see a big difference from Arvada to Boulder to Fort Collins in diversity.
