AOS Interview only 6 weeks after filing through Nebraska

I know a gal from Russia who has been in the U.S. for maybe 3-4 years, on a student visa. She recently got married, and then filed for AOS through Nebraska. She got notification of her AOS interview, which is only 6 weeks after filing.

That is way faster than for us. My wife came on a K-1, and had her AOS interview about 4.5 months after filing.

I wonder if this is just an oddity, or if Nebraska has managed to get its ###### together.

It's incredibly fast. I had my interview about 13 weeks after filing, and I thought it was pretty fast, but man, it seems to be getting better and better these days.

We had our interview after about 7 weeks. He was an overstay on a tourist visa...not that it makes a difference, but since you mentioned her situation in your post
