You moved to a different state after just three months here. You moved. On paper that doesn't look like the marriage meant much to you. Did you send letters by certified mail to your spouse to try and arrange to meet to resolve things? That way you would gave evidence of your attempts to communicate and reconcile. You can't really be doing much in the way of counseling or resolution if you've voluntarily moved your another state.

In about six months

But you arrived in May 2016 and you had a conditional green card. That card would have expired this month. Not "in about 6 months". Please answer the questions fully and truthfully. If you want to get good information out of people here, you need to put good information in.

Nobody arrives "on a green card". You arrive with a visa and you either adjust status to a green card holder or you become a green card holder after you pass inspection at CBP. If it's the latter, and your plane arrived in May 2016, your card expired this month.

I think you are going to need quite a bit of quality evidence to successfully remove conditions.  Lawyer up, and start brain-storming with him/her. This is going to take some expert strategy....good luck.

Yeah it's pretty confusing.

OP says he arrived on a conditional green card, which means he filed for CR-1??? But then if they don't have any marriage evidence, how did he get the green card in the first place????

Hi

I am in the process of filing for a divorce from my spouse. We only live together for 3 months after her arrival. We have no joint accounts, tax records or pictures together. We have nothing. Will this be an issue? Will I be able to keep my green card

Arrived on a two year conditional green card May 2016. Separated since September 2016. We have been married for 3 years. We don't have any documents such as pictures, bank statements or tax return. I moved to another state. We constantly argued about me sending money back home to help my family and I didn't help with our own household. The police had to be called out twice and on both times they told us we needed to see a marriage council.  I have read that you have to show your marriage is bona fide in order to remove your green card condition.

So you’re the immigrant?

That “her” up there, if changed to “me” makes the whole post sensible.

The highlighted makes this post confusing. My only take: someone came over, jumped the marriage ship and now just found out it was not a good idea. So they are posting to try and figure out what to do to keep their GC and status, hence the confusing posts.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Added to this: why hasn’t the OP done ROC yet it is time to do that already (as of the last 90 days)? It isn’t possible because they haven’t divorced yet for him to use “divorce” option for ROC. It won’t be surprising if OP is trying to reach the partner for this now but the partner has refused/ blocked divorce efforts because OP jumped ship immediately it got to the shores. On the other hand, the “marriage” option cannot be used as technically, you don’t seem to have done it for the correct purpose. This is why there is a limbo in this case.

Good reason to think the marriage was only for GC.  Your husband and joint home comes first in a true love marriage. You used him.
