How long before your interview?

We're still waiting for Packet 3. HOPE it's July - otherwise we won't make our planned wedding date. (Was planned before we knew about VJ or how long this process takes.) Stress. Stress.

Well, keep in mind I did not get a touch until it was being sent to NVC. You may get an approval without a touch.

Congrats!!

How long before your interview?

I feel ya. I was hoping to file AOS before new fees went into effect. There's a slight chance that we can still do that, but it will be cutting it close...and that's if everything goes smoothly from here on out.

You have a receipt date of March 28 and someone with a receipt date of March 26 found out today that they were approved. You will probably receive yours in the next day or two!

Thanks vismaster. I just did the RFE call, but the person said they're only processing cases at the beginning of December. We all know that's not true.

I can't remember the exact prompts, but first was 1 for english and the secnd was 2...i just kept following prompts like i needed to submit more documents or had questions about documents that I needed to send. It's kind of a guessing game. I followed those prompts and finally it gave me a prompt to speak with customer service rep. I think it took me two tries to follow the prompts correctly. You have to listen real close because I does not say anything about RFE, just that you received notice that more documents must be sent in and you have a question about it. When I finally got a person on the line, I told her that I saw that CSC was no longer adjudicating I129F's and I wanted to know if my petition had been sent to NSC. When I got her to look it up is when i started asking her questions about whether I had been approved. Good luck...it might take you a couple of tries to get the correct prompts.

I don't think everyone got sent. When I was talking to the lady, she mentioned that I would not have been sent because of my date, but that's when she was looking it up and said I was approved and I was so excited that I didn't think to ask what the cut-off date was. Sorry.
