For those who have done it before, it seems pretty simple doing it online.

Though do you receive any confirmation of address change through the mail to your new address?

Make sure you do it in good time. My wife and I moved address and got approved at pretty much the same time. I changed my address online but apparently the change on their system isn't immediate so my GC was sent to the old address (luckily the postal worker returned it as undeliverable.) It then took them 5 months to resend it to my new address. Fun times. Good luck with everything :)

We had to do this as well and you do not receive any confirmation in the mail.  You will receive a confirmation via email that the change has been submitted and a date that they will complete it by.  After they complete the address change, you will receive another email confirming it has been completed.  When you go to the interview, I would suggest taking copies of all of these emails.  We had our interview 2 weeks ago and I mentioned the change of address and the IO didn't have any of that in the file.  I then provided copies of the emails and confirmation pages, along with our new lease showing both of our names and the new address, and she said she would double check all of that in the system and make sure everything goes to the right address.

K1 Condensed Timeline:

02/27/17 - I-129F sent; 03/10/17 - NOA1 hard copy received; 06/15/17 - NOA2 hard copy received; 07/16/17 - NVC processing completed; 08/24/17 - Interview (Approved); 09/04/17 - Visa in Hand; 10/26/17 - POE; 12/20/17 - Marriage

AOS Condensed Timeline:

02/06/18 - I-485 sent; 02/20/18 - NOA1 hard copy received; 03/09/18 - Biometrics Completed; 04/21/18 - Interview Appointment Letter Received; 05/14/18 - Interview; 06/08/18 - Approved/Card in Production; 06/16/18 - GC Received

RoC Condensed Timeline:

3/10/20 - I-751 sent; 3/20/20 - NOA received - LIN; 3/10/21 - Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Reused; 4/05/21 - New Card is Being Produced

How long did it take from the confirmation change email to the completed change email?

Non-us citizen submits AR-11 form, on-line. Confirmation should be available immediately - you should print it.

US citizen , as a Sponsor, files I-865 and mails the form. Confirmation of  I-865 should arrive in your mail box within 2-4 weeks.

https://www.uscis.gov/i-865

 Many times USCIS still keeps sending its Letters to old/previous addresses. Don't know why, but there have been a lot of VJ peeps, including myself, who had this problem with USCIS -  despite the fact all confirmations were received and USCIS website got updated, the Notices and my EAD were still sent to our old address. But if you file a change of an address with your local Post Office, then everything, sent to your old place should be directed to your new place by Post Office. This is how everything finally found me.

Also  - try to keep in touch with people at your old address... Just in case.

Good luck!

I've sent you a link, about form I-865 - it has to be submitted by US Citizen.. Don't know who is US citizen here - you or your wife, sorry :) So, again, I-865 is for US citizen and it can be submitted only via regular mail.

"When Should I Use Form I-865?

If at any time in the past you completed Form I-864, Affidavit of Support, to sponsor an immigrant, you are required to report your change of address within 30 days of the change if the sponsorship agreement is still in force. The sponsorship agreement remains in force until the sponsored immigrant:

1. Becomes a U.S. citizen;

2. Receives credit for 40 quarters of work;

3. Departs the United States permanently and either formally abandons lawful permanent resident status (by filing Form I-407, Record of Abandonment of Lawful Permanent Resident Status) or is formally held in a removal proceeding to have abandoned that status;

4. In a removal proceeding, loses the lawful permanent resident status that the sponsored immigrant obtained based on your Form I-864; or

5. Dies.

NOTE: Each sponsor must submit a separate Form I-865 to report an address change, even if sponsors share the same address. "

here is the link

https://www.uscis.gov/i-865   I-865, Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address

Form AR-11 is for non-us citizen. This form is filed on-line.

hope this helps.

Hi,

I completed the change of address form I added my 3 receipts for uscis and received a confirmation number and service request code at the end.

I then printed off my completed form and it printed out the official completed ar11 form that it must of auto populated the fields from the new uscis website. This ar11 form also had the confirmation number printed down below.

....do I need to sign this and post it also?

Is there anyway of checking that each of my 3 cases the address field was successfully updated?

My wife is going to post her i865 soon

Hi,

If it takes 2 weeks to process, do you think it would be wise to file the change of address two weeks earlier?

I am moving out on 7/28/2018 and was planning to file on the same day. However, do you think it's feasible to do it maybe around 7/14/2018 instead?

Thanks!
