Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of completing my N-400 and I am confused if I should consider a trip to Puerto Rico as a trip outside the US?

I do understand that it is a territory of the US, but technically it is not a state and I did leave mainland US.

Could someone help clear the confusion or if they have been in the same situation? Thanks.

No, it is still part of the USA so it is not foreign travel.
