Thanks Diane and Chris. I will be so glad, my wife was even saying we should call USCIS.

It's already three months now, since I have submitted the initial evidence to USCIS and up till now, I have not hear anything from. I check my mailbox every day and it still says evidence received, we will start working back on your case since then. Please what can I do. Your advice is appreciated. Thanks

I have to say again be patient. How long does it say for I-485 at your local office under this link: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/? For example mine says 9.5-22 months. Technically I could hear anything any day now as I filed in July 2017 but I'm still waiting because they are still well within their processing times. I know the wait is awful but hang in there.

@little immigration, sorry for bothering you please. Am thinking of submitting a services request to USCIS, honestly I need to work. The load is too much on my wife and she's trying her best. At least EAD first, please I need your advice on that. Thanks for been there for me, i don't even mind calling you if I have your number. Appreciate

You can try to expedite an EAD but I'm not experienced in that. Maybe ask here on the forum and more knowledgeable people will help you.

This is why people should look at the pros and cons of the K1 vs CR-1. In your case it sounds like it would have been better for you to have done the spousal visa

K1 is hard because a lot of the time you are home just waiting and you need to figure out ways to keep yourself occupied. Do chores around the house, make friends with neighbors and explore your new area you live in. And also financially is better with the CR1 as you could have been working by now.

Some people have been able to expedite their work permit with a job offer. So if you can get a job offer you MIGHT be able to ask for an expedite. Otherwise you just have to stay patient.
