So I'm currently filling out the I-129 form. I am the US Citizen.

However, some boxes don't really need an answer from me, like "Other Maiden Names."

I know some people say to leave it blank, or write NONE, or N/A.

BUT WHAT IS REALLY THE CORRECT WAY?

HELP?

Opinions?

Anything?

Tips? lol.

I always tried not to leave blank field to avoid any silly RFE for not answering the question. If something did not apply for me then I put N/A or None and never had any trouble.

You mean the Form I-129F?

I ask because the I-129 is a Petition for a Non-immigrant Worker.

Just put N/A in any case that does not apply to you.

Take a look at the K1 guide for any extra help.

I put N/A for all fields that didn't apply to me. Didn't run into any issues. I feel like it also communicates that I reviewed that field and found it not applicable, and it removes any doubt that I accidentally overlooked it.

N/A.

There was a poster this week whose application was denied because they left the information blank instead of putting N/A.

a province is the equivalent of a state, in most cases.

If you live in the US you would leave it blank/put N/A if you want (I chose not to as they are familiar with US address standards .... one would hope ;) )  and fill in the spaces for city, state, zip code.

province and postal code are for other countries. So for my fiance, Kitchener is his city, Ontario is the province and then the post code.
