Hi everybody! :) I got my case shifted to Dhaka embassy as I moved permanently to BD.. I left Dubai on 21 Jan and did get my police certificate along with me but that's only valid for 3 months. Will that be okay for NVC?  We just paid both AOS & IV fee and have to fill d260form then sort docs to be sent to NVC for review

I'm just wondering if I also need to get a PCC from Bangladesh for NVC?  I'm a Bangladeshi citizen and only visited Bd earlier for vacations only.. I will certainly take one for my interview in future but I want to know if it's advisable to get one for NVC too??  Please guide me.

This should be fine for NVC as you’ll no longer be residing there. NVC counts police certificates as valid for a year regardless of what the document says itself. Also, doesn’t matter since you no longer reside there and won’t be returning.

You’re eventually going to need it. Were you born in Bangladesh and did you live there after you turned 16? If you did, you’d need the Bangladeshi birth certificate anyway. I’d get it ASAP. Make sure you read the instructions carefully about which PCC’s are needed. From the information needed this is something you should

probably show to NVC to avoid them sending you a checklist.

Hi.  Thanks for your advice.  Nope I wasn't born in Bangladesh. I was born and brought in Dubai. I only came to Bangladesh for vacations once In every 2 years...I just recently permanently moved back to my home country in Jan 2018 as my dad retired from his job. I've already applied online for PCC for Bangladesh...i don't want to take any risk of getting checklist.
