Hi everyone, I filed I 1-30 for my husband in March, 2 months after we married. He remains in Mexico and I am in Texas. Our priority date is March 07, 2018. When I filed, I also included

the I-864 form and complete info with pertaining documents.

Now, my question is, should I have or have not included the I-864 in my petition packet,  and will it affect  or benefit the process? I have not heard from USCIS since I got my Action Notice/Receipt (March, 13).

Thanks in advance :)

It does not make a difference, I was also advised to and included the I864 form in the I130 packet. I am now waiting on my interview. Just had to resubmit the I864 at NVC where it was supposed to be submitted in the first place. Don't worry about it.

I-864 is needed in NVC stage...it will not affect your I-130 petition....u should hear something from USCIS around mid oct to Nov...which service center your petition forwarded too...

Thanks.. We appreciate your response :)
