I'm getting married in July 22nd, currently I'm in the USA with a student visa that expires in July 29th. How do I start with the application process?

You can not file for AOS without getting married first.

Like other VJ member mentioned above, you cant apply for AOS without getting married first. Also, since you are on a student visa that expires shortly after your planned wedding date, I think that you have to go back and file the IR-1/CR-1 Spousal visa. Either way, I believe you have to return home once your visa is expired, even if you are married when the visa expires

Please, read the information pertinent to adjustment of status process on USCIS website.

Also, read these guides:

http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2

http://www.visajourney.com/content/otheraos

After you get married, you will need to file I-130 and I-485 (mandatory) forms along with I-765 and I-131 (optional). Make sure to always check on USCIS site that you are using up-to-date forms. Carefully read filing instructions on USCIS website and immigration guides here on VJ http://www.visajourney.com/content/guides/. Do yourself a favor, take your time to read and completely understand the information and you will avoid unnecessary mistakes in this complicated process without using attorney. Good luck!

All information will be in that link. Good luck.

Thanks for the information. Also, I'm not sure if I have an A-number. Is the number on my Employment Authorization Card my A-number? My working permit lasted only one year because it was just an after college practice opportunity (not a permanent permit).
