It's almost over. Just a few more steps. This is the easy part though in my opinion.

Thank you for your assurance lol. I always thought the Green Card Applications and Interviews were the hardest, I guess I'll be like this until he becomes a US Citizen lol smh

Anyone here been approved at the interview and now it's in AP? My fiance did her interview April 30th and was approved. The status has been AP ever since. There was a delay with her medical. Although she did it April 16th it was not sent to the embassy until May 14th. The consular officer didn't receive it until May 18th. When I emailed the embassy they responded the case is under administrative processing and cannot give me an estimate of when a decision will be made. My fiance and I thought after the interview everything was good but now it's another wait...after we waited 9months for our NOA2. This is really disappointing.

I have no real experience with this but I am figuring by how Jamaican processes are usually slow that since it was received May 18th, it was placed at the bottom of the queue for someone and the additional checks done during AP will possible take a while. I'm sorry about the extended wait but just don't let up on your communication with the embassy as it might end up falling through the cracks

What to do after NOA2:

Spoiler

After USCIS approves the petition, it is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign you a case number and send your petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where your fiancé(e) lives.

The NVC will mail/email you a letter when it sends your fiancé(e) case to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Once you receive this letter, inform your fiancé(e) to take the below-listed actions to apply for a K-1 visa and prepare for the interview.
