I Forgot Selective Service Letter

Alright guys, a little update:

I still requested that letter just to be on the safe side  but of course it did not arrive yet. :-(

I have an official statement from my school stating that during the critical years I was on an F-1 Status and did not have to register and only became a permanent resident when I was 28 years of age and therefore was not required to register. I also printed out that document that says that people 31 years and older don’t need to show that letter and sill can be naturalized even when they willfully did not register during the age of 18-26.

I hope this will be sufficient in tomorrow’s interview, otherwise....hello rfe....

Thank you Shomer and Arken, I really appreciate your help and support !

I am happy I got approved on the spot and yesterday my status changed to”we approved your application and will send you the notice.”

So I guess I just have to hope it comes sooner rather than later, some people seem to wait months for it, some get it within a few days.

Do you know if all the waiting is now based on finding a time to schedule for me or will they continue to look at the application ?

All this went too smooth to be true almost ! :-)
