Have you submitted your Adjustment of Status paperwork?  If so, look up Month Year AOS.  For example.  I submitted my AOS in July of 2018 so i am now in the group July 2018 AOS.  Just be careful because you want to make sure you are in the k1 to AOS . there are some groups for people who came in or are adjusting their status from another type of visa. Hope that helps.  Good luck.

Just received our approval notice today. Is there a comprehensive list someone can share with what we need to do next?

Thank you very much.

I suggest you scroll through this thread. There aren't many active here my dear.

This thread is for those who received their NOA2 in April. I'd try searching for the Nov thread..

you wait for the letter from the NVC. then schedule a medical examination (if you are required to) before scheduling interview appointment coz results may affect your interview schedule. then after the passed medical examination you can schedule interview appointment. However, if you need to do the CFO seminar, you might want to consider to decide whether you’d want to do the seminar first before doing interview or the other way around. These are the ones that i can remembers

We heard from the NVC yesterday that they have sent our paperwork to Bucharest. We are very excited. Does my fiance need to wait to set up the medical examination for her and her daughter until they have heard from the embassy?

Thanks

Have you contacted the embassy for next steps? Have you gone to their website and searched for your answer? Have you gone to the sub-forum, located under the "forums" tab above, for your country? It's time to take control and do your part and research. Good luck.

Be careful with your help as his embassy can be different from yours. For instance USEM is the only embassy that requires the completion of the CFO before leaving the PI. So he wouldn't have that requirement for his embassy. He is better off getting information from either the embassy website or contacting them.

Good Morning All!

I got my NOA2 Thursday (May 24 😄) and I am nervous/excited about the next steps. I have 2 questions:

1) Is/has  anyone on this forum going through the Barbados embassy?

2) I am sorry this question seems super dumb, but everyone is referring to packet 3.... what is that? 😰

Thanks is advanced, and congratulations to everyone who made it to this point!

xx

Hello, what all documents did they ask for in Barbados? I have been trying to find updated info but it's very hard. What was the medical and interview like?

Message me your email address and I will send you info about the medical. Make sure you are on the island well in advanced! It won’t tell you that. It’s a two day process. For example if your appointment is Thursday you MUST do the medical Tuesday. You must have one day in between. I would say two to be safe because my husband said many people were turned away at the medical. And if you are late you are turned away.
