We will be fine, its almost 14 months for us lol it's sick but i know its for the best... 10th, wow that's a long time, they better call you to come for interview the same day they get the petition from NVC :) I am sure they did not send it electronically, ours was sent on the 16th of May and embassy here got it May 17th and then they waited 2 weeks before they contacted me, it is always one of them messing up lol. I will follow you timeline now, i would like to know how it goes for you. :)

Oh sheesh so not everyone has had it smooth smh.. My timeline cannot be updated it doesn't let me put in my dates bcuz it took 10 months for my petition to get approved uffff.. I wish I can update it for others to see but vj gives me errors. And they do it electronically for the country I am applying for. Just my luck of everything taking longer than expected but sure I will be around the whole way thru wouldn't mind sharing my experience with others who are coming along! 🤗 wish you the best of luck on ur journey..

@Greenbaum I finalized my medicals today and i was told i have to pay extra for the vaccination but unfortunately my debit card wouldn't go through so the doctor said that it is not a problem, that since it is K1 Visa, i can either get the vaccine shots here in South Africa or i can go get it there in the US that it is not a problem, he is 1 of the 2 doctors that is approved for US medicals in South Africa...

What do you think? Or should i make another appointment for next week and go with cash?

Good Question @kemm360 can I share this in SA thread?, very helpful info, will help us who r stil n the process

Oh @Greenbaum i forgot to ask, i have all my documents for interview ready but i dont have the copy of files my fiancee sent to the USCIS in the beginning but she has them is it my responsibility to go with these documents? I did not see anywhere in my p3 that states i have to come with them. I only see people talking about it on here, would you please shed more light on that one?

No you do not need the 129f packet that your petitioner sent in the beginning. Follow what in the P3. Only do what do will do. :D

Same here too, once i paid the fee i can reschedule as many times as i like the credit stays there. What date did your status turned to in transit with NVC?

When you said " i can reschedule as many times as i like the credit stays there" are you referring to the medical appointment or the interview appointment?

Good Morning from Virginia :) Long time no see ... I hope everyone is doing great and went through the whole interview process already. Right now I am working on the I-485. Is there a special group at visajourney for the documents you have to submit @Greenbaum or @Naes? Or is it ok to ask my questions in this group :)?

Pretty sure you can only reschedule the interview twice before having to pay the Visa fee again. I'd be wary about stating incorrect info.

Check with your Embassy because they may only allow X number of times before you need to move to the back of the line and wait 90 more days and then you can schedule an interview but will have to pay another fee. Just educate yourself on what is and what isn't OK.

Just refer them to the website as you know each Embassy can be different from another.

Due to not getting available medical appointments in time, it’s my third time rescheduling and I haven’t been asked to pay any new fee(s) neither is it stated anywhere on their website. I’d be wary about being talking and being TOO sure about countries I’m not sure of 😊

There is a section for AOS. Just look for the forum starting at the blue ribbon on the top of this page. Also, you can use http://tinyurl.com/ob9xoa8 for some additional help.

Maybe, the Philippines was notorious for canceling and finally they needed to control all the cancellations. They want to keep the "line" full and waiting as the saying goes "time is money".  I just like to tell people it's a possibility and that way they are aware and they can do there own due diligence.
