Hello Guys! At the Port of Entry what documents we should have? Do we need our Petition to have?

Just need your passport and your packet that you will receive from your Embassy. DO NOT open the paper envelope under any circumstance!! You will not be allowed to enter if it is opened. So buyer beware!

just apply for ID now I think it's still enough time ...you can expedite it. not sure how much it cost but it's within 3 working-days you'll receive it

I think she can also contact the embassy and ask if they can issue passport on the next day. For example in Warsaw, for people who live outside warsaw or from other country can get theirs passport on the next day. If it so, it would be even better to do like that.take one night in berlin and then have your passport with visa already without waiting.

Finally, got my visa yesterday actually and it was such a relief 😌. Entering the US will be the last anxiety i will be facing . . for now. I get to book a ticket for a good price ($598), though theres a 4hr layover in Taiwan but ehh, what’s 4hrs compare to almost 7 months of going through this whole process right? Anyway, I’m just happy and want to spread positivity and happiness here. I hope everyone gets their visa soon and be with their loved ones 😊☺️

Congrats!! What airline is this? And when are you flying? :)

So I had my interview on the 5th and everything went fine and okay and got approved but now my case status still shows as ready and last updated on the 15th, not sure what they are doing but I've been talking to other people who went on the 5th and 7th who have there's already 😢 not sure what's going on but its really stressful.

I have tried emailing them on the site and calling them but they can't get through to them even if you do they can't tell you anything.

Not sure what to think now.

Little update here as well: I just entered the US last night  - POE was Atlanta. I had to go through the normal foreign lane. When I got to the officer he called another guy that picked me up and brought me to a different area. I was waiting there for about 5 mins. The interview took literally 45 seconds :D He just asked when we are getting married and if I knew that it has to happen within 90 days. After that he welcomed me to the US :) That was it. Very easy. Everyone was super friendly.

Hi All! We're getting ready for medical (tomorrow!) and interview (the 27th!)

I'm working on the I-134 right now and it asks for a USCIS account number (if any). Is this the WAC number?

Just a little longer and you should have it.  Based on the discussions I had with the case officer he informed me of the steps for approving and prepare the visa for insertion into your passport:

the first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa

the first ready is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance

the second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork

the second ready is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

Then "issue" is posted and the visa has left the BIG house to YOUR house.

Once you get that second ready, it should be sent out within a few days, although we received our visa before any of the various websites that allow you to look up the status said that it had been sent out.

Have you been following your case status on CEAC? If you have the app it will ring each time someone touches your file. Just a little more patience.

A little update. So the gf went through the interview process and she passed. The case is now under administrative processing. The interview went smooth and only asked for the pictures in which she made a scrapbook. All this time i regretted sending my financial documents thru fedex overnight (which i paid $74.00). It made on time but the consular didnt asked for it. And now shes planning to leave on July 22. I just want to thank everyone's help here on this forum. All this lurking and reading did help a lot going through this process. As for the rest good luck on your journey and hope everything goes well. Her piece of advice is make sure all the documents are completed and signed and it'll go smoothly. And always smile on the day of your interview. Not all consulars are mean and looks like they woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Some are friendly. Good luck and thank you visa journey for the knowledge i gained going through this process

The CO's at USEM rarely ask for financials anymore but if you read the checklist you will find that they recommend that she have the financials at the interview. So having them and being asked saves you from an RFE which can tack on a couple of more weeks. I know $75 buckaroos is money that can be used for some Red Horse beer.:D Make sure she has CFO taken care of before heading to the airport. Without it she is not getting out of the country.
