I just noticed that I didn't get all my originals back after my interview at the US embassy yesterday in Germany. Do you guys think I can ask for them?  Or are they now lost FOREVER :P

They're pretty much gone. Unfortunately you should get another set with copies because you'll need for other "processes" further ahead after arriving in the US.

You should have received the 221(g) email by now if they were to send one. So, keep your fingers crossed as you are not yet out of the "woods". It's my belief that they are working through everything to complete the visa. So keep watching CEAC as I believe you will start to see some movement. Just stay mildly worry. :jest:

Ohhh thanks @Greenbaum... My mind will only be at ease once I get our visa... 🙏🙏🙏

Hey guys, just a warning I'm here to RANT!!!!

I'm waiting to be assigned an interview date by my embassy and since I hadn't heard from them in a week I emailed this morning hoping to nudge them on. They called me back to tell me it's an extremely busy time of year and I won't be assigned an interview date until mid-June and to expect to get a date of end of July or August!! I'm very lucky I have my Fiancé visiting in early July to look forward to (originally thinking I might fly back with him) but I'm beyond frustrated, I cannot believe this process looks like it's going to reach the 1 year mark until I finally can make my POE. Sorry for the negativity, I'm so bummed!! :(

Why would you call if your visa is issued. It's on the way. This portion of the processing is over. Nothing but blue sky's and calm waters ahead.

yeah i know, my bad. I guess their words underneath is not actually what we should do. Just another wordings.

@Greenbaum  I'd like to ask, my case status starts to show AP today but also today they updated the date when case was created. Is it ordinary situation that when case moves to AP the date of when case was created also changes ?

So it says non-immigrant? If so that’s awesome :) that’s just normal AP Which will hopefully change to issued soon.

oh and yes it is normal. Now your case is created as non-immigrant and going through the system to get issued.

Dear   @Naes  It doesn't show me immigrant or non-immigrant. The status just shows "Administrative Processing"

How to know if it is immigrant or non-immigrant?

On top of the window right under “department of state” it should say immigrant visa or non immigrant visa application.
