So it says non-immigrant? If so that’s awesome :) that’s just normal AP Which will hopefully change to issued soon

Dear   @Naes  It doesn't show me immigrant or non-immigrant. The status just shows "Administrative Processing"

How to know if it is immigrant or non-immigrant?

On top of the window right under “department of state” it should say immigrant visa or non immigrant visa application.

@Greenbaum aside from my birth certificate and diploma, what other original documents should I bring with me to the US? :)

That's about all you need for originals. Be sure to have some "certified copies" as you will want to keep your original as most except CC's.

@Greenbaum  I'd like to ask, my case status starts to show AP today but also today they updated the date when case was created. Is it ordinary situation that when case moves to AP the date of when case was created also changes ?

Yes it's normal. Everything you will see going forward from this point on will be normal. No need to second guess the process.  Like  I have told others Trust The Process.

oh and yes it is normal. Now your case is created as non-immigrant and going through the system to get issued.

I'm glad your back and answering a few of these. I think I am going to loose my mind. "Is it normal . . . " Oy Vey

Also what does SLEC mean?  St. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic (SLEC)

Is it typical to have to go back for another medical evaluation as I thought it was only one time?  Normally SLEC is a one time visit (but two days with exam first day and vaccinations the second) but since the Philippines is a large TB country IF the beneficiary has spots on her x-ray then further testing is completed with a test called sputum. If TB grows in the little petri dish then the beneficiary will undergo a treatment that requires her/him to visit SLEC once a day M-F for six months to take the prescribed regiment to cure TB.

Thanks.

I would like to offer you additional help at no charge. You need to make yourself familiar with this website http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html that will walk you through everything you need to do to process your visa once you have your case number from NVC for the PHLIPPINES. The website was created by a Philippine VJ member (Hank) and it has helped hundreds if not thousands to get their visa with little or no hiccups. It's free to use.

Also, the ppl here in this thread are all coming from different Embassy's and their time lines and process is going to be different from yours. So asking about SLEC to someone processing through Germany will be no help to you. So, there is a sub-forum where most of the Filipino's go for help if the guide creates some uncertainty.

Found here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/ A lost of are over there helping so stop in and get familiar with the thread.

Not yet. Been checking my email and my fiances email every now and then and ceac status too. No email and status is still ready.... Should i worry? Will there ever be a possibility for refusal?

Thanks for asking.

I was wondering if you checked your status on the “non-immigrant” category of CEAC using the Ds-160 number, coz i remember i worried about the same thing before. 🤔
