Hello guys, please someone help me with this questios ASAP @GREENBAUM Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services?

IS YES OR NOT? no one other than my fiance ever filed for me before.

The key word is FILED. Not approved or completed. So has anyone ever FILED for you (in this case you = beneficiary). (Sorry using caps and bold for effect but not yelling :D)

Depends on whether or not you are going to try to reschedule your interview to an earlier date....

The clock starts to ticking on the validity length of your visa once you get the medical done. You'll have one year from the date of the medical to apply for AOS and if you anticipate any problems getting your visa right away it would be wise to getting it done as close to your interview date as possible.

In reviewing your statement "You'll have one year from the date of the medical to apply for AOS " I'd like to add this cavate; There are requirements that are stated and there are issues that arise if you don't meet the requirements. Here is what is stated as a requirement for the K-1 visa, which you have spelled correctly, that you must marry within the 90 days period. During this time your I-94 states that you can be in the country unabated for 90 days. Once that I-94 expires and you have not filed your I-495 (AOS) then technically your out of status. Now will you get in any trouble or be deported, chances are slim that will not happen. So to not be exposed to any additional problems or explanations when filing, it's highly advised to do so within those 90 days. So get married and file before the 90 days is up. Once you file in those 90 days your I94 expires but that fact that you have submitted your I-495 (AOS) you'll be in status.

So the answer that you have one year is very misleading and may cause someone harm. Just a friendly heads up.

hi guys jus in need of some clarification my fiancé is done with the interview process and we got the visa approval, but now when I'm checking up on the status of her visa it's says " Administrative Processing " what does this mean???

Just about everyone gets this during the waiting period to receive your visa.  Based on the discussions I had with the case officer he informed me of the steps for the final adjudication is as follows:

the first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa

the first ready is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance

the second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork

the second ready is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

Then "issue" is posted and the visa has left the BIG house to YOUR house.

Once you get that second ready, it should be sent out within a few days.

I didn’t saw @Greenbaum post on time. So my lawyer told me to put  NO on that  answer. I am confuse too. But it’s done. We just have to wait. I’m sure many people make mistakes like this too.

I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you ❤️

The answer is no because k1 is not an immigrant visa, and I-129f was not an immigrant petition. (Or at least this is how I answered)

NVC Case no. generated on May 2 (Eastern time) and still under administrative processing. Wonder when will our case be sent to the embassy.

It's quite tiring. I submitted an inquiry through their online form, but no email reply at all. And NVC Call Center's saying the same thing since it's in AP.

A month! It's depressing.

I understand how you feel. Let's both hope that will happen soon.

Have you tried calling the embassy about this? This seems very odd but it maybe just a glitch on their part? I was interviewed May 30 and right now my status says Issued already.
