Just saw this. I am super nervous now.

@Naes @Yuilicious  I called the embassy just now, and the agent said she will inform the officer and they will get back to me in 48 hours. BUT she said , I should not have scheduled the interview before receive the instruction, so I will just have to wait a e-mail from them to know what I should do. And there is possibility that they will let me reschedule my interview!!! NONONONO!! I am not gonna reschedule it!!! I am super nervous now.

Sincerely saying, you won’t have to reschedule..you’re worrying for nothing (I’m saying this cause I worried the same thing) please wait this week out.

i scheduled interview too early if you remember and they sent me the package. But your interview is still a month away so you can relax for the time being (believe me I’m not just saying it)

they didnt make me reschedule, I really don’t think they will make you especially when it is still a whole month away.

i also believe by calling them you’re just making the scar bleed.. I don’t know if it made sense but you don’t have to poke it yet. When they send it it will reach you in 1-2 days. So there is sincerely nothing to worry.

Pretty sure you should be counting your blessings that they didn't CANCEL your interview appt already. Most embassies would if you had scheduled before you had been given the okay to schedule.

And I agree with Naes...hold tight and keep your questioning to the Embassy at minimum (wait it out).

@K1visaHopefulHope they don't. Because I already gave more than enough time for them to process. my case is ready since 22nd May, and my interview appt is a month away.

@NaesThank you. Just hard to not overthinking. Cuz I got a job offer already and the job expects me to start from October, 2018. it is really important to me to have interview in June, so that I would be able to apply for working permit asap.  I will be praying that they would help me sort this out. btw I did not tell them about the job offer thing in the phone call tho.

My advice: don’t dig it too deep till you really need to.

Your case is ready for only a week, and most cases get their package 10 days(not just foreigners). You do have a month to go. And I’m almost sure you’ll get it this week. Yesterday was a holiday. Their week just started.

Hey Naes,

Congratulations for getting your visa approved.

I read your experience, I just need to understand what are the main financial documents they specifically look for.

1. I have got signed i134 from my US petitioner. how many W2 , paystubs and federal tax return documents are needed.

2. do I also need to carry letter of intent during k1 interview ?

3. Do I need to carry original approved NOA2 letter.

4. any other specific document apart from evidences, police clearance, photos and medical report I need to carry?

5. about photographs, I deally how many photo graphs we should carry?

6. Is it good to prepare photo book or create manual photo album ?

Thank you.

You've asked this question before and many have answered your post. On May 11 @ChuAni was kind enough to reply. It was on tab 164 in the April 2018 NOA2 Part 1 thread for your review.

@Greenbaum Thanks, I asked below questions, its completely differnet sets of questions related to personal documents and questions.

Dear friends, can any one give suggestions on below, thanks.

1. Apart from I-134, recent communications, photoes, whatsapp chat, email communication etc what are the other possible documents/ evidences I need to take during my interview?

2. Do I also need to take copy of i129F?

3. Any chances of success if I ask my fiancé to present during interview?

4. Do the consulate ask to provide any details on weeding plans? What is we can represent to them for this ?

1. I-134 evidences such as tax returns, employment letter etc.,police certificates...(you should confirm this with your embassy checklist/instructions)

2.nope

3.wont have much affect

4.they may or may not ask about plans. You can just talk about it if you don’t have any venue contract etc. they didn’t ask me anything. And I didn’t bring anything about it either.

Is it normal to be stuck on 'Ready' even after interview? Fiance had his interview last May 18, CO said he is approved. Case was last updated on May 18, May 22 then May 24 but still remain on 'Ready' like he did not even go for his interview. I know I have to be patient, just getting worried seeing some getting the 'Issued' status on CEAC 3-5 days after interview...

When Embassy is ready to issue your visa, it should change to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application"; at that time, you  will know that you are a few days away from getting the visa. Next step is it will go from "Immigrant Visa Application" to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application" and  go to "Ready" ==> "Administrative Processing" ==>> "Issued".

Sometimes, it might skip "Administrative Processing" and go from "Ready" to "Issued".  Just a little more patience is needed. Your almost there.

1. Apart from I-134, recent communications, photoes, whatsapp chat, email communication etc what are the other possible documents/ evidences I need to take during my interview? Divorce and/or Death Certificate, Police Clearance if you have lived in another country since the age of 16 for more than 6 months, medical exam results (if your Embassy requires that you carry to your interview), 2X2 photos if required by your Embassy and evidence of a relationship (you can use what you submitted with your I-129f). Don't show any pictures of any gatherings that my "look to be" a marriage ceremony or celebration of a marriage. Often times this can get you a denial or slow the approval process. So don't take the chance.

2. Do I also need to take copy of i129F? No

3. Any chances of success if I ask my fiancé to present during interview? No there isn't any advantage to "greasing anyone's palm". If you attend the interview that has a favorable influence.

4. Do the consulate ask to provide any details on weeding plans? What is we can represent to them for this ? They may ask that question after all this is a visa to immigrate to the US for the intention of marriage.

Do you have the letter from your Embassy in what to bring for the interview. That's your checklist.

You can export the entire WhatsApp chat in your memory to a text file. Some say the screen shots are better proof because anyone could type the text file, (not that you would want to type 6 moths worth of chats, and they don’t want to read it all!)

LOL:D thanks, I am already done with the interview:D they didn`t ask about it...

Any Canadians in here? How long did you have to wait to book the interview in Montreal? I received a letter telling me I'm now ready to book my interview but when I go online there are no appointments available 😐 I've been checking all day everyday for a couple days now and I haven't seen a single opening for Montreal😳 What has everyone else's experience been like? Is there a time of day I should be checking?

The other forum in which you posted in is a great one to follow.

There are several Nuckers in there in your same boat and they have promised to post when they have gotten an opening.

I'm "in transit" now waiting so I'm just a little behind you but feel free to follow me and what I post.

I'll be looking for the same answers soon if not already.

PS. AS far as I've seen nothing is available atm.

PSS. You should fill out your timeline pls!

@Naes,

@ChuAni

@Greenbaum

1. I have got signed i134 from my US petitioner. how many W2 , paystubs and federal tax return documents are needed. This is a question of your preference to prove your eligibility. Provide as many as YOU want to make you feel comfortable. 2017 documents should be enough.

2. do I also need to carry letter of intent during k1 interview ? Is it listed on YOUR EMBASSY’S Packet 3 checklist? Most if not all require it from the petitioner and dated within 30 days of the interview.

3. Do I need to carry original approved NOA2 letter. Again, is it listed on YOUR EMBASSY’s Packet 3 checklist? If not, do what makes you feel confortable? Shouldn’t be that hard to have your petitioner email it to you and print it out?

4. any other specific document apart from evidences, police clearance, photos and medical report I need to carry?

5. about photographs, Ideally how many photographs we should carry? Again, up to you as it’s about proving your own relationship is real. Do you have other strong evidence like boarding passes when you visited each other? If not collect pictures and as many as you feel comfortable.  They won’t deny you for going overboard but they will deny you for not having enough evidence.

6. Is it good to prepare photo book or create manual photo album ? Personal choice.

A lot of these questions can be found by reading through this thread from the beginning and/or by using YOUR EMBASSY Portal and/or by using the “magnifying” glass to search specific questions.

One must be willing to do research as these are very common questions.
