I'm in Texas and my fiance is in the Philippines.  I understand that I need to send exact photocopies of unaltered, original documents, and that USCIS may require me to submit original documents to USCIS at a later date.  Here's my questions:

1)  Should I submit copies of both my (petitioner) and my fiance's (beneficiary's) documents with the I-129F, or just copies of my documents?

2)  If only my documents, does she submit a set of copies of her originals at her interview, plus having her complete set of originals with her to show the interviewer in Manila?

3)  Will USCIS ask me to submit originals later (if needed) for myself (petitioner) , or can I give the set of my original documents to my fiance' (whom I'll be visiting again in 1 month), to present at her interview?

4)  Do I need to have a complete set of copies of her documents that she will take to her interview before I file my I-129F?

I haven't seen anything on this, so I hope I'm not asking a duplicate question.

Thanks so very much.  Tom (US) and Josephine (Philippines)

For the I-129f the petitioner supplies their documentations. Such as proof of citizenship (birth certificate, passport copies, ect).

Only main thing needed from the benficiary in the I-129f petition is their letter of intent signed and scanned to you. Also their information for the petition.

The beneficiary will supply their original documents (birth certificate, NBI clearance, ect) at the interview stage in Manila.

If USCIS needs any other documentation they would send you an RFE during the process and ask for it.

Thanks so much for all the answers!

Still a little confused about one of my questions:

does my fiance (beneficiary) submit a set of copies of her originals at her interview, plus having her complete set of originals with her to show the interviewer in Manila?
