Couple at Montreal interview - one from Texas, one from BC

I know this is weird and random, but when I went for my immigration interview at the US Consulate in Montreal, Canada, I met a couple that was so nice and went through the same process, pretty much on the same timeline my husband and I did. We stood outside in the cold and chatted. The woman was an accountant from Texas and the man was from British Columbia and going to move to Texas with her as soon as he got his visa. She was much nicer than my husband; she travelled to Canada to accompany her husband to his interview. My husband decided it was not worth his time, but luckily my best friend was up for the adventure. I went through security alone while my friend went to find parking for my vehicle, but I had this entertaining couple to keep me company through the stress! It was remarkable talking to another couple that went through the same lengthy journey! I was the first in line for an interview and they were second in line behind me. When I exited and found out I had been successful, I walked back into the waiting room and gave the woman of the couple a thumbs up. She jumped out of her chair excitedly and gave me a hug. Her husband was in his interview at that time. I took the elevator downstairs and went outside to text my friend and tell her I was done. They came out soon afterward and were very excited because he had gotten his visa as well. They were going to celebrate and asked us to join, but my friend and I had a long drive back to New Brunswick, so we couldn’t partake. I still regret not catching their names or trading contact info!!! I was flustered and cold and trying to get ahold of my friend and my mom was calling repeatedly! The interview date was April 17, 2018. If anyone knows of this couple, I would love to get in contact with them! (I know this is creepy! But they were so genuine and awesome!)

I did some searching here on VJ, because I like puzzles. Could it be this couple: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?cfl=&id=274508

Their interview date was April 17, the wife joined the husband for his interview, and their username suggests they're from Texas and British Columbia. Oh, and according to their review, he was the second person to be interviewed!

MariekeH, you are amazing! I sent them a message! My husband won't stop making fun of me about doing this. My mom said: "Did you try looking for them on Instagram?" I can't believe she is more technologically advanced than I am. It was cool to meet people going through the same experience of being married to someone in another country and dealing with the paperwork and arduous process of waiting and proving you're legit. People I encounter in daily life are fascinated with this and don't understand why I'm giving up my job or moving and why he's not moving here. It was like a breath of fresh air to talk to people who were in such a similar situation. This community is so helpful. I very much appreciate your help! Thank you!!!
