Does K1 override my B1/B2 visa?

Got my passport back today with the shiny new K1 visa sticker in it. I noticed however that my old B1/B2 visitor visa is still there and nothing has been changed about it - I would have imagined they'd place a 'void' stamp over it or something since you are not legally allowed to hold more than one visa. 

 

My question is: is the visitor visa still valid, or are they likely to have noted this in their systems and cancelled the visa number digitally?

It may still be active, but you're right, it should probably have been voided. It might have been digitally though. Whenever you do come to enter the US they will admit you with the K-1 and at that time probably void both visas though. By void both visa's, I mean as the K-1 is a one time only entry it is voided upon entry and, like the tourist visa, you have a 90 day I-94 to get married and apply for the AOS.

Yes. They should have voided your b2 visa after the interview and k1 approval. Thats what they usually do.

There is not a requirement to void other non-immigrant visas when they issue a K-1, but it is SOP to do so. Either way, when you enter the US they will almost certainly use the K-1 visa, which is one-use only.

Yes you can. Somebody can only have 1 status at a time in the country, but they can have multiple visas. Visas are just documents used in an application to enter the country.
